The Lyme Fight Foundation is excited to be participating in the 4th Annual Lake Natoma Trail Run on June 6, 2026!

Formerly known as the Mississippi Bar Trail Run, this beautiful event takes participants through the scenic wetlands, oak woodlands, and trails along the north shore of Lake Natoma. Whether you’re an experienced trail runner, casual hiker, or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and our local community.

Be sure to stop by the Lyme Fight Foundation booth, where we will be sharing Lyme disease prevention and awareness information, answering questions, and distributing FREE Tick Kits to help keep you and your family safe while enjoying outdoor activities.
Summer is a time for adventure, and taking a few simple precautions can help protect you from tick-borne illnesses. We look forward to meeting participants and sharing valuable resources with the community.

There is still time to register for this exciting event! To learn more and sign up, visit:

What to do after a tick bite ⬇️

• Remove the tick promptly with fine-tipped tweezers
• Clean the area with soap and water
• Save the tick if possible for identification
• Watch for symptoms like fever, rash, fatigue, or joint pain
• Seek medical care if symptoms appear or the tick was attached for a long time

Save the tick and place it in a plastic bag for testing. Store it in the refrigerator.

Early action matters when it comes to Lyme disease awareness💚
