Never A Victim (NAV) Empowering Women thru Self-Defense, Emotional Healing, and Development of a Courageous Mindset. Participants are transformed emotionally and are given hope.

Never A Victim educates and trains women on the reality of violent attacks, as well as domestic violence. Never A Victim promotes the 5 A's of prevention: Awareness, Alertness, Attitude, Avoidance, and Action. Women are educated on the statistics for domestic violence and violent attacks. They are taught to remain alert and focused on their surroundings and who is around them. They are transformed

emotionally to have the right attitude to discourage would be attackers. They are taught to avoid potentially dangerous situations. Finally, if all else fails, they are trained to take decisive action and defend themselves in order to save their own life or the life of a loved one.

One of the world's greatest female martial artist lives right here in Fair Oaks, CA and jointly runs and manages a Chinese Kenpo Karate school in Carmichael with her son. Grandmaster Linda Reid is one of 2 women in our country promoted to grandmaster by her peers. She is also in the ring of honor for those inducted as a grandmaster in the International Kenpo Karate Hall of Fame. In an industry dominated by men, Linda has carved out her niche and is highly respected and admired by all those that know her, both men and women.

She has a treasure trove of martial knowledge that she willing shares with those fortunate people who participate in her Never A Victim workshops or Chinese Kenpo Karate classes.

As a practitioner of the martial arts for over 50 years, she sees her role now as one who ensures that the teachings at her school maintain the traditions, techniques, and forms taught to her during her professional career, by masters such as Larry Reid, Remy Presas, Wallie Jay, George Dillman, Ed Parker, Carlan Steward, and Andy Ah Po.

On August 17th Grandmaster Linda Reid is hosting another installment of her renowned Never A Victim monthly workshop, held at Reid's Martial Arts in Carmichael, CA 95608, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Admission is $50 cash or $55 debit/credit card. The workshop includes the 5 A's of women's self-defense and hands on self-defense training, designed for everyday women, or nonmartial artists. Learn how to protect yourself and loved ones, making the bad guy wished he had picked on someone else.
