Fresh Start provides comprehensive medical care for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured children with physical deformities caused by birth, accidents, abuse, or disease. Fresh Start’s vision is to build a community of volunteers committed to seeing that every child with a physical deformity is given the opportunity to have a positive self-image, thereby enriching the lives of both the receiver and giver.

Fresh Start Surgical Gifts takes on Little Rock, Arkansas! 💙 ⛳

We’re excited to bring our mission to Little Rock for our very first charity golf tournament in the area! A huge thank you to Jason Roach for welcoming us to the community and hosting this beautiful event at Pleasant Valley Country Club.
A special thank-you to Beloved, our former patient, for joining us and sharing his personal experience with Fresh Start. Stories like his remind us why this mission matters so much.

For more than 20 years, Alfonso Ribeiro has been a dedicated supporter and friend to Fresh Start Surgical Gifts. 💙

While many know him as the host of Dancing with the Stars, we’re grateful to know him as someone who continues to make time for our mission. Each March, Alfonso hosts our Celebrity Golf Classic, helping children receive reconstructive medical care at no cost to their families.

Why does Fresh Start matter?
Our CEO, Shari Brasher, shares why access to specialized medical care can make such a difference for children and their families.

Through Fresh Start’s partnership with University Health children can receive care without their families receiving a bill for the medical services provided through our program.

Without this partnership and the support of Fresh Start, care like this could cost families thousands of dollars, creating an overwhelming financial burden on top of an already difficult experience.

We’re incredibly grateful to University Health, our medical partners, physicians, nurses, volunteers, donors and supporters who help make these Fresh Starts possible.

Because every family deserves the chance to focus on their child, not the cost of their care. 💙
