OG Venice Park; OG Rippers

Over the weekend, we had locals and legends of all ages pop out to the grand reopening of the newly restored Original Venice Skatepark. It was a great day with sun, smiles, smashburgers, and of course SKATEBOARDING.

Shoutout to everyone who showed up for this new-old park and its crowning day!

The Original Venice Beach Skatepark is back and better than ever! Join us Saturday, Aug. 15, for the grand reopening! Free skate/public celebration honoring Venice’s legendary skate history. 🌴

Renovated thanks to the support of Nicolai Marciano, with project support from Councilwoman Traci Park, LA City Recreation & Parks and design input from Venice legends Jesse Martinez, , 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐂𝐚. and more. The park is ready for its next chapter!

Come through for a ribbon-cutting, open skate with pro appearances, giveaways, DJ sets by Blondie Beach Records and ty, and free food from 🍔🍔BURGER SHE WROTE🍔🍔 (while supplies last). All ages, all levels, all welcome! 🛹

Last Sunday, came to Austin. 🤘

As part of the Gumball 3000 rally stop, we partnered with the The Gumball 3000 Foundation and No-Comply Skate Shop to host a free skate clinic and gear giveaway right in front of the Texas Capitol. Austin Parks and Recreation brought kids from their East Austin summer camps, and every kid went home with a skateboard — decks designed by Opake and slawn — plus helmets, pads, and limited-edition YETI water bottles. Thanks to Torchy's Tacos and for keeping everyone fueled.
