The Charlie Brown Bird Rescue Inc. The Charlie Brown Bird Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Cardington, Ohio. I want to help other birds that need new homes find great ones!

We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming parrots while educating the public on proper parrot care. The Charlie Brown Bird Rescue
We take in companion birds, rehabilitate them, and then find them new loving homes. Whether a bird is unwanted, has behavior issues, or can simply no longer be cared for, we take them in. I've raised and owned birds of my own for years and taken in a few rescues of my own that are now a part of my family. Every bird deserves a forever loving home!

🎃🧡 Pumpkins for Our Feathered Friends! 🧡🎃

Fall is here, and our birds would love some yummy pie pumpkins! 🦜🍂

The Charlie Brown Bird Rescue is kindly asking for donations of pie pumpkins to give our feathered friends a tasty and nutritious fall treat! 🧡

If you have a few extra pie pumpkins or would like to pick some up for the birds, we would be incredibly grateful! Every little bit helps us keep our flock happy, healthy, and spoiled. 🥰

Thank you, as always, for your kindness, generosity, and continued support of our rescue. It truly means the world to us and our feathered family! 🧡🐦

🎃 Thank you for helping us make fall a little sweeter for the birds! 🧡

VITAMIN A!!!

🦜 Foraging Friday: Colorful foods for your parrot!

Beta-carotene in orange vegetables and dark leafy greens can be converted into vitamin A. Parrots need vitamin A to support healthy eyes, immune function, and the tissues lining their respiratory and digestive tracts.

Awesome options include raw sweet potato, pumpkin, peppers, or leafy greens as part of your parrot’s balanced diet. Tuck a few pieces into a foraging toy to make mealtime an adventure! 🥕🌿
