What a fun day at Highland Schools yesterday. The Auxiliary and American Legion presented four 4th Graders with awards for scoring the highest on the American Flag test. Later we went to the High School and presented JROTC and the Robotics Team with sponsorship checks. P.S. The Robotics Team is going to World's Championships! We ended the day celebrating our Military Purple Up kids in our community. It happens every April 15th. Military kids are a resilient group of young people. Thanks to JROTC for coming over to help. And a special thank you to our donors, Highland Pizza, Gibeyes Pizza, Delong Farms, and Brian and Melanie from Heritage Pines. We appreciate you all!
