‼️MEETING AND CANDIDATE FORUM‼️

Share and spread the word and join us tomorrow, Tuesday, October 6, at 6:00 PM at the Morrow County Fairgrounds Junior Fair Building for a meeting on the final report from ODOT and a chance to hear from legislative candidates on the bypass before the election.

We have been going over the report since it was released last week. There is a lot to unpack. Tomorrow, we want you to come with your questions. We still have a lot too. We are going to share our initial thoughts on next steps and we want to hear from you. It is going to take all of us working together the next few months to beat this thing. We are more convinced than ever that this can be beat, and when we are united, it will be!

We are also thrilled that so many legislative candidates have taken the time to join us tomorrow. You’ll have the chance to hear directly from them on the bypass and ask them questions.

Please join us tomorrow. There is a lot of work to do, and you’re going to get a lot of really helpful information at this meeting. We look forward to seeing you soon!

It is going to take ALL of us to get this across the finish and line and stop this bypass! Join the fight. ‼️FINAL ODOT US 23/I-71 CONNECTOR FEASIBILITY REPORT RELEASED‼️

Moments ago, ODOT sent the 356 page Final Report on the bypass to the Ohio Legislature. It is linked here:

We are beginning our analysis immediately and will get you information as we discover it. In the meantime, please read, review, and analyze the findings and share your thoughts. This is a team effort.

Please join us a week from tomorrow for an update on the Final ODOT report (due this Thursday) and a chance to hear from the state legislative candidates running to represent Delaware, Marion, and Morrow Counties in the Ohio General Assembly. This is your chance to hear directly from them on the bypass issue and ask them YOUR questions. We hope to see you there!

Our next meeting is in two weeks! We hope you can make it. We will be reviewing the final report by ODOT (due by next Thursday), and will also give every legislative candidate and officeholder for Delaware, Marion, and Morrow Counties a chance to speak and share their thoughts.

‼️ODOT Final Report Meeting and Bypass Candidate Forum‼️

You don’t want to miss our next meeting! We will be digging into the final report from ODOT (due by 10/1) and planning next steps. Also, we are inviting EVERY state legislative candidate running to represent Delaware, Marion, and Morrow Counties to speak at a Legislative Candidates Bypass Forum so that every citizen knows where candidates stand and has a chance to ask questions of the folks who are running to be our voice in the legislature.

Each candidate will have 3 minutes on stage to give their thoughts on the bypass, whether they would vote for legislation to approve it or not, and whether they would vote for legislation to fund it or not—followed by your questions. Each candidate will appear on stage in order of legislative race and then last name. We ask that all remarks and questions stick to the issue of the bypass or closely related transportation/infrastructure/development issues. We have been averaging several hundred people from all three counties at our meetings so this promises to be an informative and engaging evening. Sitting legislators not on the ballot in these counties will also be invited to attend and may also speak. We hope everyone can make it!
