​Please be advised that paving is underway on County Road 26, which runs directly in front of our location. Between town and 21 is complete.
​To avoid delays, please use one of the following alternate routes to reach us:
​From North of Hall: The road is closed past the cemetery and County Road 21.
​From South of Hall: You can reach our location by driving through town.
​Coming South from Mt Gilead on 61: Use County Road 21 as an alternate route.

Memorial Day photos. It truly was a meaningful day — a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Our Legion is becoming stronger and stronger everyday. We are a united front as you can see in all the photos. Represented is the Legion, the Auxiliary, Sons of the Legion, and our Legion Riders. If you need a military home to belong to, our door is always open. Thank you to everyone who came out today. Enjoy.

Announcing a new chapter (pun intended) for our American Legion. We now have a Legion Riders chapter, open to any members of the American Legion, sons of American Legion, and our Legion auxiliary. Good things are brewing in Marengo!

Join us this Sunday for our monthly Auxiliary Breakfast. Proceeds go to a Highland High School Scholarship.

What a fun day at Highland Schools yesterday. The American Legion and Auxiliary presented four 4th Graders with awards for scoring the highest on the American Flag test. Later we went to the High School and presented JROTC and the Robotics Team with sponsorship checks. P.S. The Robotics Team is going to World's Championships! We ended the day celebrating our Military Purple Up kids in our community. It happens every April 15th. Military kids are a resilient group of young people. Thanks to JROTC for coming over to help. And a special thank you to our donors, Highland Pizza, Gibeyes Pizza, Delong Farms, and Brian and Melanie from Heritage Pines. We appreciate you all!
