Today is the Day !!!!
The Morrow County Park District was awarded an AmeriCorp NCCC grant. We will be hosting a team of 9 young adults for the next 6 weeks.
During their stay, they will be working alongside the park board and our local volunteers to complete a number of projects that will improve and enhance the preserve.
Some of the projects planned include:
• Improving and maintaining existing trails
• Constructing bridges and other trail improvements
• Building new sections of trail
• Demolishing several damaged outbuildings
• Painting and general facility improvements
• Other projects that will help improve the preserve for visitors and the surrounding community

AmeriCorps NCCC mission is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering. Come hear about their program and how to become involved. NCCC
