This Memorial Day we honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have protected the freedoms we enjoy every day.
On this Memorial Day, we pay tribute to those who never returned home and express our deepest gratitude to their families, whose strength and sacrifice will never be forgotten. May we always remember the cost of freedom and strive to uphold the values for which they gave their lives.
We honor their memory, cherish their legacy, and remain forever grateful for their service. God bless our fallen heroes, their families, and the United States of America. Thank you for all those who came before, same time, and after us veterans that served and for giving your all to defend this country.

Hey disabled veterans its fishing season. Here is some good info please check it out.

In Illinois, disabled veterans do not need a fishing license if they have a service-connected disability rating of 10% or more, or receive a total disability pension.
This exemption applies to both residents and non-residents.

Required Documentation
You do not need a special disability permit, but you must carry proof of your disability and service while fishing. You can use any of the following to verify your exemption:A Veteran's Disability Card from the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs (IDVA).
A DD214 form along with an official disability affidavit issued by the IDVA.
A disabled person I.D. card from the Secretary of State showing a Class 2 or Class 2A disability (for Illinois residents only).
Stamps and Other FeesWhile you are entirely exempt from purchasing a standard fishing license, you may still need specialized stamps depending on the type of fishing you are doing (such as an inland trout stamp or salmon stamp if you are fishing in specific bodies of water).
