HELPING VETERANS
We enthusiastically represented VFW Post 6024 at our booth during the Veterans Stand Down at Crossline Community Church in Laguna Hills. Present were Sr Vice Commander Rene Macare, Jr Vice Commander Ned Costa and Chaplain Robert Casillas. Throughout the day, we met several prospective members and answered many questions about the VFW. Local DAV and American Legion chapter members also took part. With its many resources for veterans, this was among the best Stand Down events we have attended.

VFW POST 6024 - NEW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT…
Recently appointed Officer of the Day, Greg Fox is a new member of VFW Post 6024 and a U.S. Navy and Vietnam Veteran. He also works as Greeter Host at the Laguna Hills In-N-Out Burger (El Toro & Avenida De La Carlota).
Greg reminds us that In-N-Out Burger offers all Veterans, active-duty Service members, and Reserve and National Guard members a complimentary meal on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. The meal includes any burger, fries and beverage from the menu. All current and former U.S. military members will also receive a special-edition Veterans Day decal. Proof of military service is required. Visit this Veterans Day and say hello to Greg.
