Did you know that the VFW Auxiliary offers a Continuing Education Scholarship?
This scholarship is open to any VFW Auxiliary member (who has belonged for at least a year), his/her spouse, son or daughter with a financial need. Entrant must be at least 21 years old. The National Scholarship is $1,250 scholarship will be awarded to an applicant in each of the four VFW Auxiliary Conferences.

If you are friends with me, you should be aware of my sentiments regarding Veterans so I am bringing it up. I am fairly confident that I already know two individuals who will assist, but I am hopeful that I will receive more responses, as this is a pressing concern.
Twenty-two Veterans succumb to their struggles daily. May I request that two friends or family members copy and repost this message?

Post #3838 Auxiliary sponsors Girl Scout Troop #71271 in Cape Girardeau. We delivered snacks and water flavors to the girls for them to have during day camp. We took the opportunity during our visit to present them with a certificate of appreciation for volunteering their time handing out Buddy Poppy’s on Memorial Day weekend along with a donation to the troop.

This was one of the two vocal selections at today’s joint veterans Council Memorial Day ceremony at those age center. This little girl sings so beautifully.
