Registration for 321 Pride Sports league is happening now!

The wait is over! 321 Pride Sports is ready to SCHWING into Kickball Season IX!

Kickball Season IX starts in ONE WEEK, and we're starting it off right with an Opening Day celebration!

Whether you're a returning player or brand new to the league, Opening Day is THE place to be. Let's come together as a community, get the season started, and remind ourselves why we love this game so much!

OPENING DAY SCHEDULE:
📍 Location: Southwest Park, Field #1, Melbourne, FL
📅 Date: Sunday, October 25th

9:30 AM - Opening Day Festivities
• League rules overview & season preview
• Meet and greet with players and teams
• Pick up your league shirts
• Donuts and fruit on us! 🍩

10:00 AM - Game #1 🔴 vs. 🟠
11:00 AM - Game #2 🟡 vs. 🟢

WHAT TO BRING:
✅ Your game-day energy
✅ Sunscreen (it's Florida!)
✅ Water bottle
✅ Your A-game (or at least your enthusiastic participation)
✅ Friends and family who want to see what 321 Pride Sports is all about

WHY OPENING DAY MATTERS:
This is more than just the first game - it's when we come together as a league, set the tone for the season, and celebrate the community we've built. Whether you've been with us since Season I or this is your very first game, Opening Day is where it all comes together.

As a reminder, this is a recreational kickball league for LGBTQIA+ and allies, so athletic ability is not required. This league is for players interested in a safe, welcoming space where they can authentically engage in recreational kickball in a relaxed, low-pressure environment, build meaningful relationships, and develop supportive networks.

Q***r Coffee Social was the ✨perfect ✨ way to kick off Orlando Pride before heading to the festival and parade! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I loved seeing all your Pride looks, catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and fueling up with some Café de Papi before a big day of celebrating! ☕️💕

I also want to thank everyone who came out to spend part of their Pride weekend with us. I talked to one person who told me this was her very first q***r community event 🥹 what an honor!

And a few others had traveled quite a ways because there just aren’t many opportunities to connect with q***r community where they live.

I see and appreciate the courage it takes to walk into a room full of strangers. It’s not easy for most of us, but you all truly make QCS what it is 🌈

I know there are a million things you could be doing on Pride weekend, so the fact that you chose to spend a couple of hours having coffee and making connections with us means a lot.

And for those of you making the drive because you’re looking for community, I’m so glad you found us! 💖

Occasionally I’ll receive a DM asking something along the lines of, “Am I welcome in this community?”

“I’m not sure how I identify yet. Is that okay?”

“I’m bi and people aren’t very nice about it. I typically avoid q***r spaces, but I’d really like to drop in if that’s okay.”

“I’m fluid and don’t use a label. Am I still welcome here?”

When I was coming up with a name for QCS, I chose “Q***r” Coffee Social very intentionally.

Bi, le***an, gay, pan, q***r, ace, fluid, trans, questioning, etc. etc.

All are welcome here.

As a le***an, I completely see the value and need for spaces that are dedicated to specific members of the community.

Sapphic spaces, spaces for gay men, events for trans people, q***r BIPOC spaces, etc. It’s important to have opportunities to connect with folks who have shared experiences.

But it’s also important to have spaces where everyone can come together. That’s what QCS is.

No one is going to ask you to declare a label when you walk in.

You don’t owe anyone an explanation of your identity.

Just come grab a coffee, browse some books, and chat with the local community about life, pets, books, food allergies, carabiners…

Join us for our Brevard Q***r Coffee Social at Moonstruck Market on Saturday, October 24th from 12pm-2pm! ☕🌈

This month we are super excited to have Earth’s Aroma serving up the coffee for us! They are working on a special menu just for us, so you can grab a delicious coffee or refresher while you hang out! 🌍🍂

📚 Our community book swap will also be available! Bring a book you’ve finished and take home something new from the group if you’d like. 📚

No book to bring? No worries. The book swap is totally optional 😊

As always, this is a low-key, welcoming way to connect with other q***r folks in the area. Come hang out, meet new people, and chat over coffee and books in a relaxed, inclusive space.

Whether you’re new to the community or just looking for friendly faces, you’re welcome here. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💜

Our events typically draw 30-40 people, and we’re expecting another great turnout! Seating may be limited, so be prepared for a little standing, mingling, and movement if things get busy.

Feel free to drop in anytime during the two hour window. No pressure to stay the whole time (though you’re absolutely welcome to!).

It’s been a long week for me (..I may have forgotten to bring a book to my own book swap 🫣🙃) but you guys really brought the energy to this one!

So many new faces and new connections on Sunday 🥰

I know there are always a lot of places you could be on any given weekend, especially this one. So I really appreciate everyone who found time to swing by for a coffee, swap a book, and spend part of their afternoon with us.

Big thanks to Moonstruck Market for the beautiful and safe gathering space. We always love spending our Saturday afternoons with you! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Another Saturday well spent 😌

Thank you to everyone who joined us at BookBurn Saturday! We had another incredible turnout with lots of familiar faces and quite a lot of new ones too 🥰

It really does make me happy to see people walk through the door not knowing anyone and then finding themselves in conversation with folks they just met.

Orlando, we have BIG news for you! 🔮🌈☕

Join us Saturday, October 17th from 12-2pm for Q***r Coffee Social featuring FREE tarot readings by the fabulous Stella Boheme!

We’ll be at our Orlando home, BookBurn Cafe & Social, on Pride Saturday, so come grab a coffee or cold drink, meet some new people, and gear up with us before heading out to the festival and parade! 🏳️‍🌈

Tarot readings will be first come, first served. If you’d like a complimentary reading, be sure to arrive early to save your spot! We’ll have a sign-up sheet, so there’s no need to spend your afternoon waiting in line.

We’re also very excited to welcome Aguilar Salud as the Official Event Sponsor for October’s Q***r Coffee Social!

Aguilar Salud does incredible work right here in Central Florida, providing accessible health education, prevention services and resources with a particular commitment to LGBTQ+ and Spanish-speaking communities.

They’re also the folks behind Café de Papi, an exciting new project that’s bringing their commitment to community into the coffee world. So it feels especially fitting to have them joining us for Q***r Coffee. ☕❤️
