Join us for Q***r Coffee Social at BookBurn Cafe & Social on Saturday, September 19th from 12pm-2pm! ☕🌈

BookBurn Cafe & Social is our Orlando home, with Q***r Coffee Social happening here every third Saturday of the month. This beautiful community space is centered around books, art, and connection, and we’re grateful to partner with a venue that so genuinely values bringing people together.

As always, this is a low-key, welcoming way to connect with other q***r folks in the area. Come hang out, meet new people, and chat over coffee and books in a relaxed, inclusive space.

Whether you’re new to the community or just looking for friendly faces, you’re welcome here 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💜

Our last Orlando meetup brought together nearly 60 people, and we’re expecting another great turnout! Seating may be limited, so be prepared for a little standing, mingling, and movement if things get busy.

Feel free to drop in anytime during the two hour window. No pressure to stay the whole time (though you’re absolutely welcome to!).

Join us for our September Q***r Coffee Social at Moonstruck Market on Sunday, September 27th from 12pm-2pm! ☕🌈

We hope everyone makes it out to the Space Coast Pride Parade & Festival on Saturday 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ and then come wind down with us over coffee and community on Sunday!

We’re settling into our monthly groove at our Brevard County home base, Moonstruck Market. We love Moonstruck’s cozy, creative atmosphere and their commitment to creating a kind and welcoming space for all.

Cauldron Brews will be joining us again, so you’ll be able to grab a delicious coffee while you hang out! ☕🪄

📚 We’re also adding a Q***r Coffee BOOK SWAP this month! 📚

Bring a gently used book you enjoyed and swap it for another book brought by someone in the group.

No book to bring? No worries. The book swap is totally optional 😊

About 60 people showed up for our kickoff monthly Q***r Coffee Social at BookBurn. SIXTY. 🤯☕🏳️‍🌈

Our biggest QCS turnout yet and one hell of a way to kick off our new Orlando home 🥰

One thing I heard over and over throughout the afternoon was, “We need more of this.”

More q***r spaces where we can meet each other, make friends, and build community. More spaces that aren’t centered around alcohol. More places where you can just show up, grab a coffee, and talk to people.

That’s exactly what we’re here for.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the room what it was, including the other community organizers who showed up to support us. And thank you to BookBurn Cafe & Social for giving us such a welcoming space to gather 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💖

And the best part? We’re doing it again!

I just did my first media interview for Q***r Coffee Social 🙈☕🌈

I’d submitted some upcoming events to Watermark Out News hoping they’d add them to their event calendar.

Instead, they reached out and asked if they could do a feature on QCS. 🥹

I certainly didn’t think when I started a little coffee meetup a year and a half ago that it would ever become something newsworthy.

Very cool little moment. 💜

Big news, Brevard! 🏳️‍🌈☕💜

Q***r Coffee Social officially has a Brevard County home base! 🥹

Starting this month, we’ll be gathering at Moonstruck Market in Melbourne every month!

We’ve loved every event we’ve had at Moonstruck. It’s cozy, creative, welcoming, and the folks there genuinely care about creating a kind and inclusive space for everyone. We’re so excited to make it a regular home for our community. 💜

And don’t worry, North Brevard friends! This doesn’t mean we’re never leaving Melbourne. 😂 We’ll still have occasional pop-ups at other locations and would love to make our way back up to North Brevard from time to time, too.

But for now… we have a home base!! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Mangrove Marketplace for another Q***r Coffee Social. It was so nice to see familiar faces, meet new people, and spend a few hours connecting over coffee ☕️

We often hear from folks in North Brevard who are looking for more opportunities to connect closer to home, so we’re grateful to have such a welcoming space in Cape Canaveral.

A huge thank you to Mangrove Marketplace for always making us feel at home (and for the delicious complimentary pastries! 🥐), and to cauldron_brews_321 for serving up incredible coffee all afternoon. You both help make these gatherings so special.

Next up: Orlando! 🎉

Starting August 15, we’ll be gathering at BookBurn Cafe and Social every third Saturday of the month, and we can’t wait to see our Orlando community continue to grow.
