The 2026 SpaceCom/Space Congress conference is next week! 🚀🛰️🌗✨ 🔴
We hope to see you there!
Here’s our event patch created by Tim Gagnon and the story behind it:

The theme, Powering the Next Space Age, is a call to action for builders, investors, and innovators who comprise the commercial engine of our industry. As the design transitions from Earth toward lunar and planetary horizons, it focuses on the infrastructure and cross-sector partnerships that transform exploration into a viable, long-term reality, ensuring the cosmos is not just a destination for discovery, but a robust marketplace where humanity can work, innovate, and grow.”

Have you signed up to fly your name around the Moon?

If not, there’s still time to send your name with our crew on the Artemis II mission! Submitted names will be stored on a memory card inside the Orion spacecraft. Join the flight: go.nasa.gov/artemisnames

Wow. Yesterday’s closing session was jam packed!

We first started off with Suzy Cunningham, Space Congress/SpaceCom Government Chair introducing Dr. Lee Morin, NASA astronaut and Artemis program SME.

Dr. Morin gave a comprehensive update of the Artemis program. There will be a lot of firsts with Artemis ll including an active abort system and it will be a crewed flight (target launch date is April 2026).

Next up was the closing keynote, Brandon Burroughs, a Boeing Project Manager supporting NASA’s SLS program at KCS. Mr. Burroughs gave an inspiring talk about his career journey and reminded the audience that every setback in life (and in your career) is an opportunity to move forward.

Last but certainly not least, there were closing statements from Ryan Brown, Executive Director SpaceCom. Mr. Brown expressed heartfelt appreciation to attendees, speakers, sponsors & exhibitors and everyone involved who helped make the event a success.

So were you in attendance? What was YOUR favorite session?

We hope to see you next year!

Passion, drive, determination and innovation. We heard it over and over again from the panelists from various NASA centers leading the discussion during the “NASA-led acquisition overview of civilian space mission programs” session.

It was a glimpse into the inner workings of a team of outstanding people who work behind the scenes on contracts, procurement, risk mitigation, small business outreach and more.
