Violet's Hope Autism Acceptance and Awareness Organization Violet is my beautiful loving daughter's name. My daughter was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2.

Violet's Hope is an organization dedicated to promoting autism acceptance and creating free activities for children with autism and other learning disabilities.We also are a social online group and are here to exchange resources and ideas. She is mostly non-verbal however through lot's of patience and technology she has demonstrated progress with communicative intent. Autism Spectrum is such a br

oad diagnosis and our children tend to be all over the spectrum in terms of ability and communication. I know that many children struggle with various degrees of Autism and as an organization I want to make everyone feel welcome and supported. As we move forward and meet more people in the community we will adapt to meet the needs of the ASD population and those with other SPD's.

Finally! WE have an appointment with a neurologist! Am I weird to feel so giddy? Violet and I are going to make a night of it in Pensacola and go to a gluten free vegan cafe downtown :)

I am trying to regroup. I lived in Brevard for almost my entire life and being in a new place has been so hard for Violet and the kids. Everyone here seems really kind and I am looking forward to getting Violet signed up with the Challenger Baseball league. It will be adorable to see her in a little baseball uniform and playing with other kids!
