🎃👻 Trick or Treat! Help Make Boo-tiful Dreams Come True!

The only thing that should go bump in the night is a playful Halloween ghost not a child sleeping on the floor!

This Halloween, we’re asking our community to give a treat that lasts much longer than candy: a safe, comfortable bed for a child in need.

Thanks to generous donations of lumber, bedding, and other supplies, every dollar goes further, helping us build and deliver more beds to local children.

🧡 Our greatest needs right now are:

💵 Financial donations - Whether it’s $5, $25, or whatever you can give, every dollar helps us reach another child.

🛏️ Twin mattresses - Every bed we deliver needs a new twin mattress.

💙 Twin mattress protectors - An essential item that helps keep each child’s new bed clean and protected.

✨ Two ways to give:

So many great charities provide clothing, meals, and toys to families in need. But as wonderful as this aid is, few organizations offer suitable beds and bedding to the kids in these families.

At Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. When it was brought to our attention that the need for beds went far beyond our own neighborhoods, we stepped up and took initiative. We’re a national organization answering the call to a national problem.

If a child needs a bed, we want to make sure they get one.

What an incredible moment for our Sleep in Heavenly Peace - GA, Cherokee County chapter!

Tonight, CBS News Atlanta shared the story of what’s happening right here in Cherokee County - neighbors coming together to build and deliver beds for local kids who don’t have one of their own.

A huge thank you to reporter Brian Unger for spending time with our volunteers and families and for telling this story so beautifully. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to shine a light on our mission and the amazing community that makes it possible.

Take a few minutes to watch the story below. This is why we do what we do. ❤️

No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!®

On a rainy weekend in Canton, dozens of volunteers came to cut, sand, drill, stain, and assemble stacks of lumber into something most people rarely have to think about: a bed.
