🛏️ HELP US KEEP KIDS COMFORTABLE 🛏️

As we prepare for our next Sleep in Heavenly Peace Cherokee County Build Day on Saturday, June 27, we’re also holding a Bedding Drive to help us meet the growing need in our community.

We currently have 57 beds scheduled for July deliveries, and we’re especially in need of:

✔️ Twin Mattresses
✔️ Twin Mattress Protectors/Covers
✔️ Twin Comforters

If you’d like to help, stop by our build at Lowe’s Canton Marketplace between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. We’ll have donation bins set up and ready to receive your items.

Our community continues to help us make sure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.

Right now, we are in need of:
🛏 Twin comforter sets
🧺Twin blankets
🛡 Twin mattress protectors
🛏 Twin mattresses

Donations can be purchased directly from our Mindful Giving wish lists and shipped straight to our chapter to help local children in need. Or, brought to Lowe's Canton Marketplace on June 27th on our next Build Day. We will have drop-off donation bins on-site.

A very special thank you to Jill Strickland and her amazing group at Shepherds Hook in Lake Arrowhead for the beautiful fleece crochet blankets they lovingly made for some of the children receiving beds during yesterday’s deliveries.

What a day for Sleep in Heavenly Peace! ❤️

Today our incredible delivery teams delivered 32 beds to children in our community. What an amazing day of serving families together!

The smiles on the grateful parents’ faces, the sweet hugs from the kids, and the feeling you get when working alongside an incredible group of volunteers to serve others… it’s absolutely priceless. 🥹🛏️

A huge THANK YOU to the 4 amazing teams who spent their day lifting, building, driving, delivering, encouraging, and loving on these families. We truly could not do this without you.

And thank you to everyone in our community who has donated, volunteered, shared our posts, sponsored beds, provided bedding, or supported our mission in any way. Because of YOU, more kids in Cherokee County will sleep safely and comfortably tonight.

It’s time, Cherokee County! Are you ready to help make sure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town? 💙

Join Sleep in Heavenly Peace - GA, Cherokee County for our next public build day as we come together to build beds for local children in need!

🛏️ SHP Cherokee County Public Build Day

📅 When: Saturday, June 27, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Where: Lowe’s – Canton Marketplace

👥 Who can participate?
Everyone! Families, kids, businesses, churches, schools, community groups, and first-time volunteers are all welcome. No building experience needed - we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

🔨 What we’ll do:
Together, we’ll build beds for children in Cherokee County who currently don’t have one of their own. In just a few hours, you can help change a child’s life with a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

💙 Whether you swing a hammer, help organize supplies, or simply show up ready to serve, you’ll be making a real impact in our community.
