Unboxed our new branded tent, tablecloth, table, and chairs for a dry run.

We’re gearing up for a busy fall stretch of "being seen" at local festivals and events throughout late August and September. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, which is the heart of our health initiative—bringing early detection education directly to Cherokee County.

A huge thank you to Alan Thompson (retired) for generously donating his time, marketing expertise, and graphic design talent to this project.

A special shout-out to Lori Flink of Allegro Business Products and her husband, David, for bringing those graphics to life on such a top-notch tent and tablecloth setup. It looks fantastic!

And, of course, we are grateful for our partner, Credit Union of Georgia, under the leadership of Amanda Arnold.

The Blue Ribbon Cherokee Ladies Scramble is Officially SOLD OUT! ⛳️💙

We are incredibly humbled, excited, and, most of all, grateful to share that our upcoming Ladies Scramble is officially sold out!

To the 100 players joining us from all across the area—including our friends traveling in from Crystal Falls, Eagle Watch and Woodmont—thank you! Because of your incredible response, we are preparing to roll out the red carpet to make sure you have an absolutely fantastic day on the course.

As a reminder, Blue Ribbon CHEROKEE operates under a strict "No-Ask" policy. That means there will be no tee signs to buy, no mulligans being sold, and absolutely no fundraising pitches while you play. Women overwhelmingly act as the "medical directors" of the home. This relaxed, 9-hole tournament is a fun way to enjoy a day of golf with friends while learning how to help the men you love—husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, and friends—stay ahead of prostate cancer through early detection.

When caught early, the survival rate for prostate cancer is nearly 100%. We want to ensure every man and family in our area has the knowledge to stay ahead of it.

We operate under a strict "No-Ask" policy written directly into our bylaws. This means we do not solicit donations, and you will never be hassled for money on this page. Our sole purpose is to provide free, life-saving awareness and support right here at home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Thrive Canton for the official Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting for Blue Ribbon CHEROKEE! Having our community, civic, and business leaders stand with us meant the world.

Our "No-Ask" mission is simple: provide clear, straightforward education so men in Cherokee County can stay ahead of prostate cancer. Early detection saves lives, leading to a survival rate of nearly 100%.

We don't charge membership dues. Instead, we are fueled by community action and vital local partnerships—including our board members Candler Howell and Harry Johnston, our upcoming golf tournament partner Georgia Urology, and the families honoring loved ones lost to this disease.

Moving forward, our strategy is to "Be Seen." When you spot our blue canopy at local festivals and events this year, come say hello, grab a push card, and take the pledge.

Together, let's help Cherokee County stay ahead of the curve! 💙

We are thrilled to spotlight Maddy Marquez, our Summer Social Media Intern, who attended the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce meeting this morning!

Maddy is a proud graduate of the 2026 Chamber Teen Leadership Class, and her internship is made possible through the excellent program at the Cherokee Office of Economic Development.

This summer, Blue Ribbon CHEROKEE is excited to give her hands-on experience in our digital marketing program while exposing her to the various facets of the professional world she will enter after high school.

She is pictured here with Cherokee County Commission Chairman Harry Johnston, who also serves as a valued Board Member for Blue Ribbon CHEROKEE. We are incredibly grateful for his leadership and for the community partnerships that help us mentor the next generation.
