We had our 2nd parenting class for our young mothers. Their children had a fun playtime during the Mami session. We are grateful to Corina teaching them about the love of God and the importance of being a mother. We are so excited about this time that they have together. As they share their struggles with one another and receive godly counsel. We believe Jesus is doing a great and wonderful work in the hearts and lives of these young women. We have several other Moms that couldn’t make it last night. Most of thdem live up to an hour away in the villages and we are trying to provide transportation. Please add this to your prayers.

CAFO 2026 theme :

LESS.
Fewer Branches, Better Fruit.

Jedd Medefind started the summit off with a story from his childhood where he learned to prune the grape vines in his family vineyards.
Through out the summit each workshop presenter stayed true to the theme of pruning and less.

The General sessions were also a time of hearing stories of lives that God had pruned and now they are producing fruit that remains.

Lacrae gave his testimony…
“ I wasn’t a problem to be solved, I was a person that needed love.”
I loved when he said, “ planting seeds everywhere but only seeing dirt. But God sees the fruit that is in the seed!! “
Boy, I related to that immediately with our ministry in Romania, and was encouraged.

One of my favorite speakers always at CAFO is Curt Thompson. He is such a wise and gifted man, and you can tell he loves the Word of God.

Shane & Shane joined us and lead us in a sweet time of worship.

I was personally challenged to join my Heavenly Father in the work of pruning. To be ready to receive the pain of His pruning… what needs to be cut off in the ministry, and in my life that isn’t producing fruit? To take courage. Strategic pruning for better fruit.
I will trust the Gardener.

Camp Days 5 & 6 -
Our Treasure Hunters woke up ready to go as we opened the Word of God together! 📖
Today we discovered how reading the Bible grows our faith, keeps us from sin, teaches us how to pray, and points us to salvation through Jesus Christ.
During our small groups, several of the kids shared that they want to read their Bibles more, understand God better, and grow in their prayer lives. Some even talked about reading the Bibles they received at camp for themselves. We praise God for this! What a blessing to see seeds being planted and a desire for God’s Word growing in their hearts. ❤️
After a full morning, we took the kids to a local hotel for a couple of hours in the pool. It was so refreshing on a hot day, and everyone had a great time! 💦
And, of course, we ended camp the way we always do—with a bonfire and good ol’ fashioned S’mores! 🔥
We are so thankful for these days together and for every opportunity to point these precious kids to the greatest Treasure of all—Jesus Christ!
We also had something extra special to celebrate—one of our young men turned 18 today! 🎉

Saturday morning came much too quickly, and it was time to say goodbye—until we see each other again. ❤️
Before the kids boarded their bus, we gathered for one of our special camp traditions—our Victory Circle. Together we gave thanks to God for our time at camp, for the memories made, for His Word that was shared, and for all He has done in our hearts this week.
Then came the hard part—the hugs, the tears, and the goodbyes. These kids are so very precious to us, and saying goodbye is never easy. We are grateful that God continues to give us opportunities to love them, encourage them, and point them to Jesus.

Camp Day 4 - Morning Bible study was nice. But team games got a little intense to say the least! Of course all in good fun. Paul, Dena, Denisa and Cristian got all bagged up for the Stupid Challenge.
The kids had a blast watching this!!
Of course they all loved the craft time. Adrian Stanciu a dear friend of Dena’s, came to open Gods word and share a special message of how Gods Word made an impact in his life as a boy.

Camp Day 3 - stretching every morning with Georgiana, hot dogs for breakfast, Teresa shared about how to have a devotional time with God everyday, then we had a treasure hunt in the forest, later more activities and games. Weather cooled off by 13 degrees!! Praise the Lord!
Later in the evening we shared the 4 treasure chests which shared the gospel of Jesus Christ… God, Sin, Jesus Christ and Faith.
Keep praying for the hearts of the campers to be enlightened.

Camp Day 2 - Verse for today “Your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a Light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105
Today we learned about God’s word giving us light and if we follow Him we will not walk in darkness. We had some fun playing games, making a wind chime, watermelon for another hot day and movie night with popcorn! These are the best kids & we sure do love them !!
