Caledonia Education Foundation

Caledonia Education Foundation The CEF exists to strengthen our community by supporting the students and educators of Caledonia Community Schools.

The Caledonia Education Foundation (CEF) was established in 1998 to help support a tradition of excellence in the Caledonia Community Schools (CCS) in Caledonia, Michigan. Our purpose is to provide funding in the form of grants for exceptional education programs that would not otherwise be funded by the district and to provide scholarship awards for post secondary education to Caledonia High Schoo

l graduating seniors. The volunteer CEF Board of Directors works throughout the school year to build an endowment that will provide support for the many generations of CCS students to come. Funds are raised thanks to the generosity of community members who make direct Donations, buy memorial bricks, attend CEF events, donate through United Way, payroll deduction plans and employer matching funds, or who remember a loved one through a lasting memorial or CEF scholarship.

Wishing our Caledonia community a wonderful summer break! 💜💛

What an incredible school year it has been! At the Caledonia Education Foundation, we are so proud to support our district by providing staff grants, senior scholarships, and vital resources through our Essentials Fund. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our families, educators, and community sponsors. Thank you for partnering with us to make a lasting impact for our students and staff!

We hope this summer brings you plenty of sunshine, deep rest, and sweet moments with family and friends. We are working on plans for the new school year, organizing our upcoming CALAPALOOZA Homecoming event, and mapping out ways the Foundation can continue to support our schools with the help of our generous donors and sponsors! 🏈🎉

• Half helps fund future grants throughout Caledonia Community Schools

The Foundation will send your educator a gift card on your behalf, along with recognition on our social media and website.

🎓 2026 SCHOLARSHIP SPOTLIGHT 🎓

Today, we’ll be wrapping up our 2026 Scholarship Announcement posts highlighting the students awarded scholarships through the Caledonia Education Foundation at the Class of 2026 Senior Awards Night.

🌟We are excited to recognize Elliot Clark, recipient of both the Matt Christensen Scholarship and the MEF Fieldhouse Scholarship!🌟

Having these awards presented by both the owners of MEF Fieldhouse and Matt Christensen’s family made the recognition even more special.

The Matt Christensen Scholarship was established by Judi and Alyssa Christensen in honor of Matt Christensen. Matt an outgoing, hardworking, and compassionate Cal student who lived life to the fullest while always finding ways to give back and support others. This scholarship recognizes a Caledonia senior who demonstrates leadership, advocacy for others, and a commitment to continuing their education after high school.

The MEF Fieldhouse Scholarship was established in 2025 by Jason and Kelly Russell, owners of MEF Fieldhouse, to support graduating Caledonia seniors who are active members of the fieldhouse and are pursuing higher education opportunities that may not otherwise be possible without financial assistance. This scholarship celebrates dedication, growth, and personal advancement both on and off the field.

Congratulations, Elliot, on receiving these two meaningful scholarships! We are proud to celebrate your accomplishments and look forward to all that lies ahead in your next chapter.
