✨ April’s Back to BC3 Speaker Series featured BC3 alum Dylann Yarrington ’22.

🎓 Dylann shared her journey at Butler County Community College as a student, BC3 Student Ambassador, and Rho Phi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa member, highlighting how getting involved beyond the classroom helped her build meaningful connections within the BC3 community. After transferring to a larger university, she stayed engaged with BC3 and even returned for the 2025 Career Fair—an experience that ultimately led her to her current role as a Communications Specialist with leading steel manufacturer, Ellwood.

💡 Dylann offered valuable advice for our guests:
• Put yourself out there. It’s not just about checking boxes, it’s about getting involved and making the most of each opportunity.
• If you are invited, you deserve to be in the room.
• There is only one YOU.

👏 Thank you, Dylann, for sharing your story and insight.

☕ A special thank you to the BC3 Alumni Association for organizing this Coffee, Community, and Connections event.

🎉 More to come this fall as BC3 celebrates 60 Years of Pioneers. Stay tuned for upcoming alumni events.

Spring dinner bags are out to BC3 Pioneer Pantry patrons and their families to help celebrate the upcoming holidays! 🌷🐣

Thanks to the generosity of Community Alliance Church in Butler, enough ham, pineapple, canned vegetables, applesauce, scalloped potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cake mix, icing and egg-coloring kits were donated to fill 50 of the 70 spring dinner bag requests.

The BC3 Food Security Team completed the remaining bags so that every request could be fulfilled across all BC3 sites.

A heartfelt thank you to our donors and volunteers who helped keep this special tradition going. 💛

If you would like to support our students this holiday season, click here to make an online donation to the Pioneer Pantry from the drop-down menu: https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/donor-form/?svcid=renxt&formId=b256f3a0-bc79-4582-a98c-c9696c4fdc8b&envid=p-bgp4Jsec3E6YQuYBkPacVw&zone=usa

We were thrilled to welcome over 26 students and 15 professionals from our community—what a powerful afternoon of networking and growth!

A heartfelt thank you to all of our professional moderators, the Butler County Young Professionals for sponsoring the lunch, and the BC3 Alumni Council for making this event such a success. Your support helps shape the future of our students!
