💞 Pick me, choose me, love me 💞
Professional lap warmer, tiny purr machine, and stage-five clinger… but you can call him Jasper! 🐾💕
Need someone to warm your lap while you curl up with a good book on a chilly fall evening? Jasper is ready to volunteer! 🍂📖 And yes, he’ll expect payment in chin scratches, cuddles, and plenty of treats! 😅
This adorable 4-month-old kitten is sweet, affectionate, and full of energy- the perfect mix of playful little troublemaker and snuggly best friend. Whether he’s chasing toys or settling into your lap, Jasper is ready to steal your heart. ❤️
Jasper is also a little foodie! He loves both dry and wet treats, but Churu is definitely the way to his heart! 😻 His favorite toys? Springs and feather wands! He also loves exploring tunnels, lounging on window perches, and climbing cat trees. Basically, if it's fun, cozy, or made for climbing, Jasper is all in! 🌳🐾
Jasper gets along wonderfully with other cats and absolutely loves his humans! He must be adopted into a home with another playful cat-or together with one of our other rescue kittens. Why adopt one little love bug when you could have two? 💕
The important stuff: Jasper is neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and boosters, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He's all ready to start his next chapter with his forever family! ❤️
Ready to give this lover a loving forever home? Please fill out an adoption application! 🏡💗

A little update on our Tanky boy. 🤍🖤

Yesterday, I noticed severe drooling, so I took Tank to urgent care. He was also very congested, with discharge from his nose.

During his exam, the vet found a loose, broken canine tooth that she was able to remove. She explained that this was causing his excessive drooling. His other upper canine is broken at the gumline, so we need to schedule a dental appointment to have it removed.

🐾 Other findings from his exam:
• Discharge from both eyes.
• A large amount of waxy debris in both ears, which were cleaned.
• Mild noisy breathing while sedated, but his lungs were otherwise clear.
• One missing toe, with no noticeable limping.
• A normal heart rate and rhythm, with no murmur.

He also has severe upper respiratory symptoms and received a Convenia shot. His last Convenia shot was in June, when we trapped him for his neuter. Since his symptoms are still present, it seems that treatment didn’t fully resolve the problem. We will most likely need an upper respiratory PCR panel to help identify what’s causing his symptoms and guide his treatment.

The total for yesterday’s visit was $437.12, and he still needs further dental care.

If you would like to contribute toward Tanky’s care, please consider donating to Cranberry Cat Safe Haven. Every donation helps us get this sweet boy the care he needs. Thank you so much for supporting him and our rescue. 🥹🩷🐾 https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/your-donation-gives-cats-a-second-chance. https://givebutter.com/untitled-campaign-rbzg9h Links are in our bio 🫶🏼

⚠️ Warning: very emotional post. 🥺🤍🖤
Remember Tank? Tanky Tank? Tankster? The big white-and-black boi from the old Auction Barn in Cranberry?
We never forgot him. And tonight, he’s safe in our rescue. 😭
In April, we started a TNR project at the abandoned barn. We fixed almost all the colony and found nine tiny kittens who went to a fellow rescue for adoption.
Tanky took months to trap. In June, he finally went under our drop trap. He wanted nothing to do with us. We neutered him and returned him to the place he knew.
Then came the demolition news. We had one month.
With permission to feed nearby, we moved their food two feet at a time until the cats reached a safer spot in July. Every day, I returned. Every day, Tanky saw me.
Slowly, ten feet became six. Six became two.
One day, he ate beside me. I touched his head. He ran.
“Tomorrow is another day,” I thought.
Then came the day he purred. He rubbed against me, leaning into my hand like he couldn’t get enough.
After that, he came for love before food. 🥺
I knew I had to bring him in. I just needed our quarantine room to open.
Last Sunday, he got his usual 15 minutes of pets. Hours later, I injured my right ankle—a grade 3 severe sprain with a torn ligament. Now I’m in a ginormous orthopedic boot, barely able to walk, let alone drive.
Someone helped feed the colony, but Tanky started appearing only briefly on camera. Being stuck at home, unable to go to him, broke my heart.
Today, the room opened. Then he appeared on camera.
I got a ride, packed his favorite snackies, and went. As I hobbled along calling his name, he came.
Tess helped get him safely into a carrier because I could barely move in my boot.
He’s in rough shape, with painful scratches and signs of ear mites and a respiratory infection. We’re arranging veterinary care ASAP.
After he settled, I touched his head.
He immediately started purring. 😭
We don’t know his whole story. We know he spent years surviving outside.
Tonight, he has a soft bed, a full belly, and someone who will come back.
Tomorrow. And every day after.
Our hearts are full. The happy tears won’t stop.
Welcome, Tanky. No more cold nights in the woods. We’ll find you the HOME you always deserved. 🤍🖤

🚨 UPDATE ON THE 25+ CAT SITUATION 🚨
Today, I went to the home with the social worker who originally reached out to Cranberry Cat Safe Haven for help. We were able to get 6 kittens, a mama cat, and her 3 newborn kittens out of the home and into safety. ❤️🐾
Cranberry Cat Safe Haven will be taking 2 of the kittens. Unfortunately, we currently don’t have any additional foster homes available. Thankfully, Furry Friends of St. Francis had some fosters open up and will be taking 4 of the kittens, along with mama and her 3 newborn babies. ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to Furry Friends of St. Francis and Kitty Queen Cat Rescue for stepping up and helping! Per the Social Worker, Kitty Queen Cat Rescue has also committed to taking 10 cats from this situation. This is truly a mutual rescue effort, and it wouldn’t be possible without everyone working together to make sure these cats have somewhere safe to go. 🐾
And we’re not done!
Our plan is to take in at least 8 more cats from this home as soon as we have foster homes available. We’ve already had a few wonderful people step up and offer to foster, and we are so incredibly grateful to each of you! Because of you, we’ll be able to go back and get more of these cats into safety. ❤️
We still need additional fosters! If you have room in your home for even one cat, please consider filling out our foster application. Every foster home that opens means another cat we can help. 🏠🐾
https://forms.gle/XvYwAkDMr7C1udFb7
With Kitty Queen committed to taking 10 cats, there will still be approximately 10 cats remaining in the home that will need placement. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, and we want to make sure no cat is left behind.
We are also currently running very low on kitten food. With the kittens coming into care, any donations of kitten food would be greatly appreciated. Monetary donations are also incredibly helpful and will go toward food, supplies, and veterinary care for these cats.

🚨 URGENT: FOSTERS NEEDED FOR MORE THAN 25 CATS & KITTENS 🚨

We received an urgent call from a police social worker regarding an elderly woman who is living in a difficult situation with approximately 25 cats, including adults and kittens.

She would like to keep one of her cats, but the remaining cats desperately need placement. ❤️

We’ve reached out to other local rescues, and they have stepped up to help. We would love to help with this situation as well, but we need foster homes.

We are urgently looking for fosters who can open their homes to one or more of these cats. 🐾

Fostering gives a cat a safe place to decompress, receive the care they need, and ultimately find a loving forever home. You provide the safe space and love, and we’ll be there to support you throughout the process.

If you are able to foster, please fill out our Foster Application:

Even if you can only foster temporarily, your help could make a huge difference.

Please share this post! The more people who see it, the better chance these cats have of finding safe placement. 🐱❤️

This is urgent, and these cats need us now.

Meet Storm & Ash! 🖤🤎
These two little guys came from a colony of 60 cats, phew! 😮‍💨
Storm, our fluffy black boy, is already a total sweetheart. 🖤 Ash, on the other hand… well, he has a few opinions and isn’t afraid to hiss about them. 😂 But we have a feeling that’s going to change in no time!

No more colony life for these boys. Welcome to a better life, Storm & Ash. 🫶🏼

🐾 Home at Last! 🧡

We absolutely love happy endings and reuniting missing pets with the people who love them. Stories like this remind us why microchips are so incredibly important.

A few days ago, a kind woman from a nearby neighborhood reached out after an orange kitty had been visiting her yard. She asked if our rescue had room for him, but before making any decisions, we knew the first step was to scan him for a microchip.
When we scanned him, we found that he had a registered microchip! As a rescue organization, we were able to access the owner’s contact information through the microchip registry. We immediately gave her a call, and the moment she answered, she told us that her sweet boy, Nugget, had been missing for the past two months.

There was only one thing left to do.

We loaded Nugget into the car, drove him home, and watched as he was reunited with his very relieved and overjoyed owner. Seeing them together again was the best reward we could ask for. 🧡

Welcome home, Nugget! We are so happy your adventure has come to an end.🐾🧡

Update: We got this covered! 🎉😭🙏🫶
Thanks to our incredible community, we found an HVAC contractor who stepped up and offered to complete the installation at a discounted rate. We are beyond grateful for every recommendation, share, message, and kind word. We truly couldn’t have done this without you! 💕

🚨SOS 🚨 💔 We need your help.

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve had to write because we were so close.

Our rescue cat room is finally coming together after months of planning, saving, and countless hours of hard work. If everything goes as planned, it should be ready by Sunday or early next week. We were so excited to finally start welcoming cats into a safe, comfortable space where they can heal, decompress, and prepare for their forever homes.

But we’ve hit an unexpected roadblock.

The HVAC contractor who was supposed to install our dual-zone mini split AC/heat system is no longer able to complete the installation. Without it, we can’t safely bring in any cats because the rooms won’t be temperature controlled.

We’re reaching out and hoping someone in our amazing community can help.

Does anyone know an honest, reliable licensed HVAC installer who could come out as soon as possible?

Someone who does quality work without charging an arm and a leg?

Or maybe someone who would be willing to donate their time or offer a discounted installation for a nonprofit cat rescue?

As many of you know, every dollar we raise goes directly toward saving cats. Our budget is extremely limited, but our commitment to helping them never changes.

Right now, this installation is the only thing standing between us and opening our doors to cats who desperately need a safe place.

If you know someone, own an HVAC business, or could simply share this post, it would mean the world to us. The right person may see it because of you.

Thank you for believing in Cranberry Cat Safe Haven and for always showing us so much love and support. We truly couldn’t do this without this incredible community. ❤️🐾

A little update on Miss Journey. 😌
Miss Journey had her vet appointment yesterday, and she did amazing! She was spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
She handled everything like the little boss she is! 💕
Now it’s time for recovery, and I’ll be spending the next weeks helping this sweet, but still a little grumpy and frightened, girl come out of her shell.

Stay tuned for her progress! 🩷

Oh, and we got an answer about her adorable little tail… she has a natural bobtail! She was born that way, which makes her even more special. ✨
