Celebrating Connection at our Leadership Reception🎉

This summer, the Cranberry Foundation hosted a Leadership Reception at the Terrace at Summer Nights to celebrate connection and appreciation within our community.

The evening honored the Four Pillars of Cranberry: recognizing the partnerships, leadership, and collaboration among businesses, government, education, and community organizations that continue to strengthen and shape our region.

What could Powell Farm look like in years from now?

A place where agricultural demonstrations help showcase sustainable farming practices. Where soil health, crop diversity, and farm-to-table innovation are part of the story. On May 21, the Cranberry Conservancy hosted the Powell Farm Visioning Forum 2026, bringing together community members and stakeholders to explore the future of this important part of Cranberry Township's history.

What is the Cranberry Conservancy? 🌱

The Cranberry Conservancy is a committee of the Cranberry Foundation focused on connecting Cranberry Township residents with the outdoors and helping shape a more connected, resilient community.

It's work centers around:

🌾Agriculture - Supporting the agricultural mission and future of Powell Farm.

👢Greenways & Trails - Helping advance connections between parks, trails, neighborhoods, and open spaces.

🌿Conservation - Cultivating lasting green spaces, nature trails, and environmental initiatives.

🤝Partnerships - Bringing together community leaders, organizations, donors, and sponsors to advance priority projects.

Through fundraising, grant opportunities, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, the Conservancy is helping turn a long-term vision into a lasting legacy.

Better Together! ☕+🍩= ❤

Get ready to perk up for a purpose! The Cranberry Donut Connection and the Cranberry Foundation are teaming up for a delicious morning of coffee, donuts, and giving back – because when nonprofits help nonprofits, everyone gets a little sweeter.

Join us on Tuesday, September 8, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center for your morning coffee and donut treat! Cranberry Donut Connection will be on site, serving up fresh donuts and coffee. All proceeds benefit the Cranberry Foundation, supporting its mission to strengthen our community.

It’s a hole lot of good in one morning! So, come grab a cup, pick out your favorite donut and help make a difference with your purchase. Donut miss it!

Take home a piece of Powell Farm 🌻

Powell Farm has become home to thousands of sunflowers this summer, and with a donation to the Cranberry Conservancy, you can take some home for yourself!

Visit the Cranberry Conservancy table at Cranberry Town Square Market, Fridays from 3-7 p.m., now through September 4, to donate. The suggested donation is $1 per stem.

Your donation to the Cranberry Conservancy Stewardship Program supports the Cranberry Conservancy's and the Township’s ongoing commitment to land stewardship and community engagement.

A vision has become reality! 🎉

On Tuesday, we celebrated the grand opening of the National Fitness Campaign Fitness Court Studio at the UPMC Passavant Sportsplex at Graham Park - the Cranberry Foundation's 2025/2026 Project of the Year and the first dual-sided fitness court studio in Western Pennsylvania!

This innovative outdoor space is a place where neighbors can stay active, families can connect, and Parks and Recreation can expand outdoor classes, youth programming, and wellness opportunities.

Projects like this are only possible because of the generosity of our donors, partners, and community members who believe in investing in Cranberry's future. Thank you for helping us create a healthier, more vibrant community.

Before the ribbon is cut, the excitement is already building!

If you've been to the UPMC Sportsplex at Graham Park recently, you may have noticed construction on new fitness equipment near the soccer fields. The wait to enjoy the new National Fitness Campaign Fitness Court Studio is almost over!

On Tuesday, August 4, the Cranberry Foundation, Cranberry Township officials, community partners, and supporters will celebrate the official ribbon-cutting for the new Fitness Court Studio.

As the Foundation's 2025 Project of the Year, this innovative space is the region's first Fitness Court Studio and the only dual-court in Western Pennsylvania. The new facility features a dynamic fitness court for self-guided workouts, along with a dedicated studio space for instructor-led classes, youth programs, and community wellness events.

This exciting addition will expand recreation opportunities for residents of all ages while replacing the aging fitness equipment previously located near the soccer fields.

We're excited to celebrate another investment in a healthier, more active Cranberry community!
