Fun Fore All Family Fun Park knows a thing or two about bringing people together, and their commitment to the Cranberry community goes well beyond fun and games!

The longtime community partner recently donated $5,500 to the Cranberry Foundation, supporting the Project of the Year and helping bring meaningful improvements to our community.

Aging brings new questions, challenges, and decisions for older adults and the people who care for them.

IDEA's upcoming Aging and Eldercare discussion on November 8 will bring together three panelists who work closely with older adults and families navigating these experiences.

Meet Janet Leahy, Amanda Langhel, and Amy Kowinsky!

Together, they'll share insights on aging, available resources, caregiving, and the importance of planning ahead. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear different perspectives, ask questions, and walk away with information that can help them or someone they love.

Cranberry, Then & Now: A Story 50 Years in the Making

Take a look back at the Cranberry Public Library in 1975!

Just two years earlier, the Library opened its doors with a collection of only 200 books. Today, that collection has grown to more than 93,000 items!

As the Library was finding its footing, another organization was taking shape. In 1976, the Cranberry Township Community Chest (CTCC), now known as the Cranberry Foundation, was established with a mission to strengthen the community.

Over the decades, our stories have become intertwined.

In 2019, CTCC selected the Library's renovation as its Project of the Year, helping transform the space with improved accessibility, modern amenities, and a new makerspace for hands-on learning and creativity.

That partnership continues today. Earlier this year, the Library received a Cranberry Foundation Community Grant to add 60 new juvenile nonfiction books to its collection.

The Foundation also supports the Library through endowments and special funds, helping ensure future generations have access to the resources and opportunities it provides.

A lot has changed since 1975. Our commitment to building a stronger Cranberry community hasn't. 💙

Did you know Cranberry Township's Powell Farm is home to honeybees?

Thanks to a partnership with Feesides Farm and Apiary, there's been quite a buzz at the Farm! And now, the bees' first batch of honey is ready!

Want to get your hands on some? Stop by the Cranberry Conservancy's booth on Friday, October 23, at the Great Pumpkin Festival at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center (5:30 - 7:30 p.m.) The Conservancy will have honey from the farm's first harvest, along with pumpkins grown right at Powell Farm.

Proceeds benefit the Cranberry Conservancy and its efforts to preserve and protect local green spaces.

A grant can help someone breathe easier.

With support from the Cranberry Foundation, Breathe Pennsylvania is expanding its Patient Assistance Program in Cranberry Township, helping eligible residents living with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory conditions get the tools and knowledge they need to better manage their health.

That means increased access to spacers and, just as valuable, one-on-one inhaler education to help patients use their medication effectively.

This is what a community grant can do.

Support becomes resources. Resources become knowledge. And knowledge can help someone breathe easier.

We’re proud to support Breathe Pennsylvania and the important work they’re doing right here in our community.

We’re excited to share that Breathe Pennsylvania has received a grant from the Cranberry Community Foundation to expand our Patient Assistance Program in Cranberry Township! 💙

With this support, Breathe PA will increase access to spacers and provide one-on-one inhaler education for eligible residents living with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory conditions.
