WE'RE MOVING! Beginning June 22, the Butler County Veterans Services office will be closed while we move to our new location at 215 N. Duffy Road in Butler.

We're excited to welcome our veterans to our new office beginning the week of June 29th!

Annual American Legion Auxiliary Unit 778, Lyndora Craft show will be held on Saturday November 7, 2026 from 9 am - 3 pm at the post.

Letters, with applications, have been sent to previous vendors. If you are interested and did not receive a letter, please send a private message and we will get one to you.

Space fee: $25 each; $30 for space with electric. Electric spaces are limited.

If you would like to donate a basket, send us a message and we will be glad to pick it up 😊

Each year, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 778 in Lyndora award two scholarships in memory of Joanne Watterson. The students participating in the Vo-Tech Culinary Arts Program are selected by their instructors. The scholarships for 2026 were awarded to John Graef and Breanna McCormick. Congratulations!

The red poppy speaks where words fall short — a silent tribute to the sacrifices made for our freedom by the heroes who served and died for our country in all wars. ❤️‍🩹 The poppy is a reminder that their courage will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

After World War I, the American Legion Family brought National Poppy Day® to the United States by asking Congress to designate the Friday before Memorial Day as National Poppy Day.

The Auxiliary promotes the poppy as a symbol of the sacrifices our military have made, a symbol to open people’s hearts and inspire them to donate to help support the future of veterans, servicemembers, and their families. 🇺🇸

Today, on National Poppy Day, wear a red poppy to honor the fallen and support the living. ❤️
