Today we're celebrating one of our own— Simone Hughes , a powerhouse of prayer who continues to push our MAD family to Release, Relax, and Receive. Simone is also the amazing host of monthly MAD Fast, where she continues to help create space for our spiritual development.

MAD is made up of people from different backgrounds and different beliefs, who desire the same goal—to be successful.

This month, Felisha Nicole Pitts led us through MADmoney Moves, encouraging us to take a look at our wealth and what wealth means in our lives.

Next month, Yvette Frazier, will lead us into Spiritual Growth, focusing on where we are in our spiritual life.

So what better way to transition than by supporting Simone at the Confident Her Women’s Conference on Saturday, August 29 at 10:00 AM?

The Manifest A Deliverance Foundation, Inc. is proud to honor our May Community Thanks recipient, Sergeant Harold Roberts, who has received our specially designed Community Thanks trophy in recognition of military service, honoring those who have dedicated a portion of their lives to serving their country and continue to demonstrate strength, commitment, and perseverance in their communities.

A Life of Service: Honoring Sergeant Harold Roberts

There are individuals whose lives reflect a quiet strength—a strength built through service, commitment, family, and a willingness to continue growing throughout every season of life. Sergeant Harold Roberts is one of those individuals.

Sergeant Roberts proudly served five years in the United States Army, including time overseas, before circumstances required him to return home. His military service represents a meaningful chapter of his life and reflects a willingness to step away from the familiarity of home and serve his country wherever he was needed.

Military service requires sacrifice, discipline, resilience, and commitment. While Sergeant Roberts may not speak at length about his experiences, his five years of service speak for themselves. His willingness to serve overseas and then transition back home is a part of his story that deserves recognition and appreciation.

Beyond his military service, Sergeant Roberts has built a life centered around family. He has been married to Geraldine Roberts for 26 years, and together they have three children. His dedication to his family is another reflection of the commitment and loyalty that have remained important throughout his life.

Sergeant Roberts is also a man who continues to embrace life and learning. He enjoys traveling, giving him opportunities to experience new places and perspectives. He has a strong interest in history, appreciating the stories and lessons that have shaped our world. Most importantly, he loves continuing his education, demonstrating that growth does not have an expiration date.

His desire to keep learning is a reminder that every chapter of life presents an opportunity to discover something new, expand our understanding, and continue becoming the person we are meant to be.

In every community, there are individuals whose service may not always be accompanied by a long list of accomplishments or public recognition. Sometimes, their greatest contributions are found in the life they have lived, the people they have loved, and the commitments they have honored along the way. Sergeant Harold Roberts is one of those individuals.

His military service, dedication to his family, love of learning, appreciation for history, and adventurous spirit all contribute to a life worthy of recognition.

We proudly honor Sergeant Harold Roberts for his service to our country, his dedication to family, and his continued commitment to learning, growth, and living life with purpose.

The Manifest A Deliverance Foundation, Inc. is proud to honor our July Community Thanks recipient, Clarence T. Wiggins, also known as Mr. Robo, who has received our specially designed Community Thanks trophy in celebration of Citizens with Disabilities and Pride Month, recognizing individuals who embrace their journey, overcome adversity, and continue to inspire others through strength, resilience, and purpose.

Defying Limitations: The Resilient Spirit of Clarence T. Wiggins

In every community, there are individuals whose lives remind us that adversity does not have to determine the limits of what is possible. Some people face challenges that could easily become barriers, yet they choose to keep moving forward, growing, creating, and finding new ways to live life fully. Clarence T. Wiggins, affectionately known as Mr. Robo, is one of those individuals.

Since October 24, 2017, Mr. Robo has been living life as a right-leg amputee following a Factor V blood clot disorder. As a blood clot survivor, his journey has required him to navigate life from a slightly different angle and perspective. Rather than allowing his circumstances to define him, he has embraced his journey with determination, humor, creativity, and an unwavering desire to keep working on his greatness.

Mr. Robo’s story is one of resilience. He continues to challenge himself both mentally and physically, remaining dedicated to personal growth and accessibility. His journey demonstrates that living with a disability does not mean giving up on movement, purpose, dreams, or the desire to experience life to the fullest.

He describes himself as living life with extra titanium and a lot of momentum—and that spirit is evident in the way he continues to move forward. His perspective encourages others to look beyond limitations and recognize the possibilities that can exist when we choose to adapt, persevere, and keep going.

Mr. Robo is also passionate about representation and community. As the owner of Amp Brothers Clothing, he has created a clothing line that represents the amputee community in his own way of showing love and support. Through his business, he uses creativity and entrepreneurship to bring visibility to a community that deserves to be seen, celebrated, and represented.

His work reminds us that pride can take many forms. Pride is found in embracing who you are, recognizing the journey that brought you here, and refusing to allow someone else’s definition of ability to determine your worth. Mr. Robo embodies that kind of pride through the way he lives, creates, connects, and continues to move forward.

His dedication to accessibility is another important part of his journey. By remaining active mentally and physically and speaking from his own lived experience, he helps bring awareness to the importance of creating spaces where everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and thrive.

What makes Mr. Robo’s story so powerful is that he does not simply talk about overcoming obstacles—he lives it. Every step forward represents perseverance. Every accomplishment represents another reminder that life can continue to hold purpose and possibility, even when the path looks different than expected.

In every community, there are people whose resilience becomes an inspiration to others. Clarence T. Wiggins, Mr. Robo, is one of those individuals. His strength, creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to personal growth remind us that our circumstances may shape our journey, but they do not have to define our destination.

We proudly honor Mr. Robo for embracing his journey, representing the amputee community with pride, and continuing to move forward with purpose, courage, and momentum.

The Manifest A Deliverance Foundation, Inc. is proud to honor our June Community Thanks recipient, Hasan Reid, who has received our specially designed Community Thanks trophy in celebration of Men’s Health Month, recognizing men who prioritize their health, embrace positive change, and inspire others through their journey.

A New Way of Life: The Inspiring Journey of Hasan Reid

Sometimes the most powerful transformations begin with a simple realization—that something needs to change. For Hasan Reid, that realization became the beginning of a journey that would transform not only his physical health, but his entire way of life.

Hasan’s journey began around November of 2025 when he realized that he was not truly happy with his physique and knew that something needed to be done. What started as an attempt to get into better shape quickly became something much greater. It became a commitment to creating a healthier lifestyle and becoming a better version of himself.

Hasan made the decision to transform both his diet and his physical fitness. Rather than treating his health journey as a temporary goal, he embraced it as a new way of life. His consistency and dedication have become the foundation of his transformation.

Today, Hasan works out approximately five times a week. His routine includes walking a mile on the treadmill after each workout, demonstrating that his commitment goes beyond simply showing up—it is about continuing to push himself and remain consistent.

While exercise has played an important role in his transformation, Hasan recognizes that one of the most important changes he made was to his diet. By making intentional changes to the way he eats and incorporating regular physical activity into his lifestyle, he has experienced a remarkable transformation.

Since beginning his journey, Hasan has lost approximately 20 pounds. More importantly, he says he looks and feels better than ever. His pride in his accomplishments is evident, but so is his excitement about what lies ahead.

Hasan’s story is a reminder that taking control of your health is not about perfection—it is about making a decision to begin, staying committed, and allowing small changes to become lasting habits. His journey demonstrates the power of discipline, self-motivation, and believing that change is possible.

Men’s Health Month gives us an opportunity to recognize the importance of men taking care of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. Hasan represents what can happen when a man makes the decision to invest in his own well-being and refuses to remain where he is simply because it is comfortable.

His transformation is not just about losing weight. It is about gaining confidence, gaining strength, gaining energy, and gaining a renewed outlook on the future.

In every community, there are individuals whose personal choices inspire others to make better choices for themselves. Hasan Reid is one of those individuals. His commitment to changing his lifestyle and his willingness to share his journey remind us that it is never too late to decide that you deserve to feel better, live better, and become better.

We proudly honor Hasan Reid for taking ownership of his health, embracing transformation, and showing us what it looks like to turn a goal into a way of life.
