The MAD Foundation proudly recognizes Hannah and KayLee Michelle for attending our MAD About Domestic Violence: Purple Circle Edition.

Domestic violence awareness starts early. Our children need to recognize unhealthy behaviors, understand how to break harmful cycles, and know they have safe spaces to speak without fear of judgment.

Our young people deserve to be heard, protected, and empowered.

A heartfelt thank-you to MAD supporter Amy Tracy and KayLee’s family for supporting their daughters’ participation and allowing them to be part of this important conversation. Investing in the next generation starts with us!

TO THE MEN: YOUR VOICE MATTERS. THERE'S A SEAT FOR YOU AT THE TABLE.

To the men who showed up, participated, listened, and added their voices to today’s MAD About Domestic Violence discussion: THANK YOU! Your presence alone said a mouthful. It showed that these conversations matter, that awareness takes all of us, and that men have an important place in creating healthier cycles.

And to the men who weren't in the room today, this invitation is for YOU, too.

You don't have to have all the answers. You don't have to carry everything alone. And you don't have to wait until something is wrong to make room for your own growth.

You deserve a space to Release what you've been holding, Relax in a place of healthy mindset changes, in order to Receive all that life has to offer you.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT | MRS. VICKY O'CONNOR 💜

The MAD Foundation extends a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Vicky of Amity House / Glynn Community Crisis Center for her continued support and for sharing valuable insight during our MAD About Domestic Violence: Purple Circle Edition* discussion.

One important reminder she shared: Domestic violence support is for everyone, including men. No one should feel that help is unavailable to them.

Mrs. Vicky also reminded us of the importance of knowing how to approach someone we believe may be experiencing abuse. Sometimes, support begins with listening, asking how we can help, and connecting someone with the right resources.

Blue Heart Member Dr. Abijah Love led the Daughters of Zion Walk of Light in remembrance of those whose voices were silenced by domestic violence and in honor of those who continue to survive, heal, and share their stories.

Survival looks different for everyone, but one thing remains true: our voices matter, our stories matter, and domestic violence must never become a conversation we are afraid to have.

May we continue to speak out, share stories that encourage and inspire, and honor those we have lost by refusing to let their stories be forgotten.

We remember. We speak. We WALK together.

MAD ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE | THE PURPLE CIRCLE EDITION

Today’s MADmeeting reminded us of the power of creating a safe space to Release, Relax, and Receive.

We started with one question: “What does domestic violence awareness mean to you?”

What followed wasn’t a lecture. There was no dominant speaker, no emphasis on titles, and no who’s who. Just an open discussion where wisdom was shared, experiences were acknowledged, and perspectives were explored.

We poured into one another while recognizing that we are all still learning, healing, and growing. No one came as a perfected person, but everyone came willing to be transparent.

That’s what it means to GET MAD the Right Way!

To the women who participated in today’s discussion, thank you for bringing your wisdom, experiences, and authentic selves to the circle. Your willingness to share made this MADmeeting meaningful.

We don’t have to be the same to grow together. We just have to be willing to Release, Relax, and Receive TOGETHER!

FREEDOM. DIVERSITY. SUCCESS.
