This last week was surreal to say the least… I got invited out to Idaho, which is a place I couldn’t have really put my finger on if you showed me a map.

getting the opportunity to go experience fly fishing for trout on the West Coast was like a dream of mine. A dream that I put out of my mind. Because I simply didn’t think it would happen.

But I’m so grateful for God’s children. Not only in my everyday life, but for those I get to connect with over long distance.

An acquaintance of mine who is a believer was willing to invite me into one of his favorite passions for the week. To say it briefly, I had an amazing time. It was a trip of a lifetime!

So grateful for Douglas Pierce for teaching me how to fly fish… So grateful that Norm Shively was willing to take me under his wing for week and increase my learning in this pursuit of fly fishing.

I cannot express with words how amazing this trip was. I’ve been to many summer camps. And I have had great leaders, and great opportunities to grow mentally, emotionally, and physically through programs like BSA.

This Camp was truly amazing because of the impact we were able to have spiritually. It was tangible when God was working on our campers, and we got to help be the conduits God to do it! Each kid was there for a reason, and I am so grateful they got to participate in the first one ever!

I’m so honored to get to be a part of this ministry, and more than anything else. I’m honored to get to be a disciple making disciples.

SKATE CAMPS HAVE BEGUN!

So excited for the summer season of our VSM camps. As someone who gets the chance to lead our Skate camps this year, I’m honored to get to spend my summer with these kids.

Between the skateboarding, the relationships, the laughs, the conversations, etc. It’s all worth it.

One day, they’ll be adults, making decisions that will define long seasons of their life. But right now, I get to be the guy helping a kid grow in their character today.

If you didn’t know, I have a myriad of things I get to do in ministry. Skateboarding is just a small part of my life, but it gets to be used with a purpose greater than just a sport. It has become an outlet for me, that I can then use to reach others with God’s love. Never thought that 4 wheels and a pice of wood could be such a great tool to implement discipleship…
