November is National Family Caregivers Month, and today early giving for Colorado Gives opens. 🍂

Across Colorado, parents raising children with complex medical needs carry more than most of us will ever see: overnight monitoring, endless appointments, the constant watch for what comes next. They do it for years, often without anyone noticing.

There's a specific kind of tired that a good night's sleep can't touch, the bone-deep exhaustion of being needed every waking second.

Grief and caregiving often share the same house, living side by side, rarely spoken aloud. Sometimes what a parent needs most is simply a safe place to feel it.

One parent found that in their Dream room, they could let the heavy things surface, held by people who understood without a word.
