St. Raphael, healer of the sick, pray for us. 🕊️

St. Raphael the Archangel is invoked for all who are sick in soul or body, that they may be healed, as Tobias’s father was healed.

“O Raphael, Celestial Medicine, companion of travelers and healer of the sick! Guide us safely through the perils of this life, and cure the wounds of our souls, that we may enter into the eternal joy of the Lord.”

"The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin... If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors." -St. Louis de Montfort

Surgery Update: Since Sister Mary Savio’s recovery is taking longer than expected, following the first two procedures, her second surgery has been postponed until October 19th. Thank you for all of your prayers and your generosity to help fund the medical expenses for the surgery and after care. We have raised 92% of the needed funds in less than a week, $84,000. May God bless you for your generosity and reward you a hundredfold. Thank you also to the WM Review who published two articles to help raise the funds for Sister, gratuitously, without any request from the Sisters. Here is their most recent article:

Can we help the Sisters reach their fundraising target for Sister Mary Savio’s care by tomorrow morning?

“If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Four young women began their postulancy on September 15, the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows: Sister Nicolette from California, Sister Georgia from Pennsylvania, Sister Philomena from the Philippines, and Sister Gabriella from Florida. Please keep them in your prayers that they may persevere in their vocation.

Saying the rosary for Sister Mary Savio before the tomb of St. Appolinaris, martyr. St. Lambert’s Basilica, which holds these relics, is about a mile from the clinic Sister Mary Savio is staying in. She thanks everyone for their prayers and generosity. We have raised 70% of the funds for her surgeries, which will continue, God willing, once she is cleared by the doctors.

Surgery Update: Thanks be to God, Sister Mary Savio's first two procedures were a success today. After a late start and four hours in surgery, the doctor chose to complete the remaining two next week, giving her the weekend to recover. Thank you all for your prayers and generous donations thus far. We are halfway to our goal for her medical expenses, and if you are able, please help us reach it https://gofund.me/953537258. For those not able to give, your prayers are just as much appreciated. The Sisters are praying a novena to St. Thérèse of Lisieux, leading up to her feast on October 3, for the success of Sister's remaining procedures and her full recovery.
