MIST New York Muslim Interscholastic Tournament New York MIST stands for Muslim Inter-Scholastic Tournament. This group is dedicated to the NY Region of MIST.

MIST is a fun way for high school students around the nation to develop leadership, communication, and other creative skills while gaining a deeper understanding of Islam and Muslims! We hold a tournament every year having competitions in things such as Debate and Basketball, to Tajweed and Qur'an Memorization, to Art, Writing and much, much more. Alhamdulillah, the journey to our 20th anniversary has been nothing short of a blessing. Watching this documentary back, filled with the wisdom of the wonderful Omar Shareef and the current New York directors, is a surreal reminder of how far we’ve come and what MIST means to our entire community.

We poured our hearts into compiling these two decades of MIST into one encompassing video showcasing what MIST New York is all about. We are immensely blessed to be walking away with 20 years of legacy, lessons, and community. May Allah (swt) allow us to continue for many, many more years to come in sha Allah. Make sure to watch till the end. Happy 20th Anniversary MIST New York!
