The 2026 International Festival of Glass is right around the corner!

There will be so much to see, with demonstrations, presentations, and exhibitions highlighting different techniques and approaches.

Interested in stained glass?

Rachel Mulligan & Julia Gonyou will be presenting ‘Show us what you're made of: Stained Glass 2026’ on Friday 28th August between 1.30pm and 2.30pm at The World of Glass.

And, you ca check out the stained glass that is included in the British Glass Biennale and the International GAS Member Exhibition.

Enjoy stained glass windows in their original setting and being able to find out more about their history?

Lowe House, the Church of St Mary will be open for a tour on Monday 31st August from 10.30am, no booking required.

And don’t miss the chance to visit St Helens Minister, where The Glass Painters Showcase will be on everyday between 10am and 3pm.

Andrew Logan’s Jewellery Extravaganza!
30 August | 3 - 4 pm at The World of Glass

Andrew Logan is delighted to present his joyful, sparkling and exuberant Jewellery Extravaganza Performance at the 2026 International Festival of Glass!

Andrew Logan is a British sculptor, jeweller, painter and performance artist and creator, and perpetual host of Alternative Miss World – the outrageous and ongoing, iconic and countercultural art /fashion event which he established in 1972. Throughout all of Andrew’s work, he explores transformation, joy, celebration and beauty. His large scale mirror and glass sculpture and portraits can be found in art collections across the world. His smaller scale, wearable art pieces are unique, wonderful and collectable jewellery pieces that allow people to take a part of Andrew’s world with them wherever they go. Perhaps his most incredible creation is The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture – which houses many of his most loved artworks as well as an archive of Alternative Miss World memorabilia in Berriew, Powys in Mid-Wales.

Traditionally staged at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the Jewellery Extravaganza performance celebrates the grand opening of Andrew’s Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Mid-Wales in 1991. This year is The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture's 35th birthday - it’s half-platinum!

Watch as a shimmering cascade of model-works-of-art, dressed by Andrew Logan and featuring make-up by the wonderful Rosie Hammick, descend upon the World of Glass, laden with eye-opening and delightful wearable art pieces.

The British Glass Biennale at the International Festival of Glass has been a flagship exhibition within the glass art world for over 20 years, and is the largest selling event of contemporary glass art in the UK. Showcasing over 80 artists from across the country, it attracts an international audience looking to discover contemporary developments within glass art, both in technique and subject matter.

Complementing the Biennale, the International GAS Member Exhibition and the International Bead and Jewellery Exhibition show the full range of styles, methods, and concepts employed by leading glass artists working today.

£23,500 in cash and material prizes are awarded to artists as part of the exhibition, sponsored by The British Society of Master Glass Painters and The Worshipful Company of Glaziers; The Glass Sellers Charity, associated with The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers; Bullseye UK; Warm Glass UK; The Guild of Glass Engravers; The Glass Society; and Barbara Beadman.
