Yesterday, our Executive Director and Director of Operations attended Hunger Free Oklahoma’s annual conference, Hungry for Action!

We are grateful for opportunities to learn, connect with others working to address hunger, and bring new ideas back to Broken Arrow Neighbors. As the need for food assistance continues to grow, these conversations help us better support our neighbors with dignity and care.

Thank you, Hunger Free Oklahoma, for bringing us together around a shared commitment to a hunger-free Oklahoma! 🧡

(Although it may not look like it, we promise that we were not trying to cause any Bedlam controversy at the conference. 😂)

Let's give a shout out and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to BA Neighbors' Operations Coordinator, Alex Falkler!

Alex started as a volunteer and quickly became such an important part of the BAN team and we couldn't keep doing what we do without her. Alex serves our clients with humility and compassion and never shies away from jumping in to help where needed. Getting families into our database and on the pantry schedule may be what she does on the day-to-day but her dry wit and infectious laugh provides our office a much needed lift when we need it most.
Thank you Alex, for all you do to help our neighbors in need.

Happy Birthday! 🎂🎁🎈
