It is with great sorrow and profound sadness we report the passing of our board chair, Dan Evans, Jr. Dan's positivity, optimism and focus on putting people first, made him an extraordinary human being and impactful leader. He was a leader within his community at large, within his business, as chair of the chamber and as chair of the MassHire Board of Directors. He was humble, kind and focused on people and what really mattered, always. His presence and positivity will be missed beyond compare for so many within the region.

🎉 Congratulations to Divine Watch Training School LLC on the opening of its new location in Randolph!

The Metro South Chamber was proud to celebrate with a ribbon cutting alongside community leaders, educators, family, and supporters as Divine Watch Training School officially opened its doors. Founded by registered nurses Helen Ugiagbe and Augustina Idahor, the school is dedicated to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals through hands-on training in CNA, CPR, Nursing Assistant programs, and more.

As the demand for skilled healthcare workers continues to grow, investments in workforce training like this strengthen both our local economy and our communities. We are excited to welcome Divine Watch Training School to the Metro South business community and look forward to seeing the impact they will make.

Congratulations to Helen, Augustina, and the entire Divine Watch team on this exciting milestone! We wish you continued success.

Leadership is measured not only by personal achievement, but by the opportunities we create for others. The Metro South Chamber was proud to host our 28th Annual ATHENA Leadership Award Luncheon, celebrating leadership that empowers, mentors, and elevates women in the workplace and throughout the community.

Congratulations to Christiana Odunze of the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services, recipient of the 2026 ATHENA Leadership Award.
