The Metro South Chamber joined community leaders and supporters to celebrate the grand opening of Food Basket International’s new location at 683 Belmont Street in Brockton.

The international supermarket offers groceries and ingredients from around the world including fresh produce, seafood, premium halal meats, and prepared meals, adding a new resource for the region’s diverse community.

We are pleased to share that the Metro South Chamber of Commerce is Co-Sponsoring Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA)s Annual Regional Meeting for the South Shore/South Coast, and you’re invited! Each year, CHAPA convenes stakeholders from across the housing ecosystem to learn directly from those doing the work on the ground.

This meeting is free and open to anyone interested - no previous housing experience necessary! CHAPA staff will share a brief presentation about their work, and then we’ll engage in conversation with you about your community’s housing needs and opportunities, and where CHAPA should prioritize their advocacy in the coming year.

This year’s South Shore/South Coast meeting will be held via zoom:
