The Brockton Women in NAACP were proud to show our support this past Sunday at the Randolph Women’s Club “Give To Gain” event held at Generations in Avon.

It was a beautiful afternoon of community, connection, and women uplifting one another. Events like this remind us how powerful collaboration and support between women’s organizations can be.

Thank you to the Randolph Women’s Club for hosting such an inspiring gathering. We were honored to be in the room! 💐✨

This week, we witnessed .

Thanks to the efforts of advocates like you, we sent a clear message to lawmakers that we will not stand for the weaponization of ICE in our neighborhoods.

No agency operating above the law should be rewarded with more resources. Let’s keep applying pressure. This is how we win.

WIN Committee Shines at the 39th Brockton Holiday Parade! “’Tis the Night Before Kwanzaa”

Today, the WIN Committee proudly stood alongside our Brockton NAACP Branch as we joined the Brockton Holiday Parade, celebrating our vibrant, joyful theme “’Tis the Night Before Kwanzaa.”

It was a breathtaking day filled with rich culture, community, and jubilation. From the stunning Kente prints to the energetic drummers, the unity symbols, and festive atmosphere, our float radiated the spirit of Kwanzaa — and our Grinch DJ added a dynamic touch of soul, fun, and celebration to the entire procession.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, dressed up, drummed, danced, and represented with pride. Your presence brought warmth to the cold and joy to the city streets!

Umoja. Celebration. Community. WIN. We are grateful to stand together and share this moment with Brockton. ❤️🖤💚

📣 We Are Here for the Recounting! 📣

Brockton residents — today is the election recount, and we’re here as the ballots are being reviewed to ensure every vote is counted accurately.

🗳️ Recount Day: Today
📍 Location: Shaws Center, Brockton

The recount was scheduled to begin at 9 AM, but we officially started around 11 AM. At this time, we are only on Ward 3, with three more wards to go. It’s unclear whether this process will be completed today or if additional days will be needed — it all depends on how the review progresses.

This is an important part of protecting the integrity of our local elections. Every vote matters, and today’s recount helps ensure the final results truly reflect the will of the people.

Stay tuned for updates as the process continues.
Let’s keep our community informed and engaged!
