Today Bristol Action Group led by Sam Ward was cleaning up trash and tall weeds on the street in 90 degree heat.
Faith Mobile Food Bank Bristol filled a blessing box put up in front of a school
Teachers home
Looks like the city is now putting up lines on the street to help with driving and parking there.
Everything was going nice.

Then 6 Bristol police cars came rushing down the street to another Norfolk crisis. Or was it?
Sam Ward said

“Hey you might want to edit your post, those police were not responding to anything they were harassing me because I "matched the description of someone" wich is a lie because the cop knows me and knows I wasnt who he was looking for. They were just trying to harrass and intimidate me which they've been doing for a while now”

Hi. I hate asking people but it’s hard to pickup food, deliver to more than 20 blessing boxes, run the foodbank van and do errands with the current price of gasoline.
I really could use some help. I use about $30-$50 a week depending on if I go
To the Elizabethton wholesaler and PepsiCo
In Johnson City.
Can a few people help

Today Faith Mobile Food Bank Bristol handed out food for 178 people.
When we were done I met some people and handed out for 16 people (5 families).
Then filled 3 blessing boxes. My goal
Is to feed 200 people every Saturday food bank day
Thanks to all the fantastic volunteers who
Passed out food, crafts and brand new clothes to our neighbors in the heat.
