Allston Brighton Food Pantry The Allston Brighton Food Pantry believes that food access is a basic human right and works to build a community that is safe, sustainable, and just.

We welcome everyone to join in the mission of neighbors feeding neighbors in body, heart, and soul. Every Wednesday, we offer a Community Supper beginning at 4:30 PM that is open to everyone, free of charge, and no ID is required. We also offer Food Baskets to residents of Allston Brighton, and the Greater Boston Area, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. In November

After 4 long months of building repairs, deep cleans, and outdoor distributions, we are finally ready to reopen our doors and start our regularly scheduled programs. We are so excited to welcome our community back into the building! Thank you again to our amazing group of staff and volunteers who devoted themselves to helping us over the last few months. We couldn’t have done this without you.

Our first Saturday distribution will begin this weekend on June 13. We will be open from 10am to 1pm. These Saturday distributions will be held every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Our weekly community supper will be held every Wednesday afternoon, beginning next week on the 17th. Check our website for more details: https://abfoodpantry.com/

Thanks to partnerships with Spoonfuls and Food For Free, we continued serving our neighbors through outdoor distributions over the last few months. Our Wednesday and Friday morning distributions will be put on hold for now while we reopen our building. We really enjoyed these outdoor events, but we will be focusing on establishing our regular schedule for the time being.

Our last outdoor distribution will be this Friday, June 12. Please keep an eye on our socials for any updates regarding our schedule. We can’t wait to see you this summer!

We are thrilled to announce that the Allston Brighton Food Pantry is partnering with Opera Untapped and Simons Shoes for this year’s Flowers and Opera concert on Saturday, June 13th.

Flowers and Opera was first developed during the height of the pandemic, they are celebrating their sixth year this summer. The program will feature live opera, free flowers, and a food drive supporting the Allston Brighton Food Pantry. The event will be open from 2pm to 4pm at the Allstonway Greenspace in Brookline. We’re so excited to announce that our Nearly New Thrift Shop will now be open every Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm, starting next weekend and continuing through the month of June!

We’ll also be continuing our $5 bag sale from last weekend. Every purchase helps support the food pantry and our reopening campaign.

We look forward to seeing you all next Saturday for our first day back open again!

🍎ABFP Call for Volunteers!

We will be resuming program operations starting in June and need your support to bring our space back to life! With construction almost complete our building is ready to resume our food programs and welcome the Allston-Brighton community back!

Join us this weekend at our Nearly New Thrift Shop's Spring Sale. We are working hard to clear out our space, so everything must go! You can fill a bag of items for just $5, or pay what you can. Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the food pantry. This is a great chance to grab some great new pieces for the summer. We hope to see you there!

Our volunteers mean the world to us, we couldn’t do this work without the constant support of our friends and neighbors. We’re looking forward to completing our repairs and reopening our building as soon as possible.
