We were honored to attend the 18th Annual Harvard Allston Partnership Fund Grant Awards Ceremony at the Harvard Ed Portal, and we’re proud to share that the Brighton Allston Historical Society was among this year’s grant recipients.

The Harvard Allston Partnership Fund was created in 2008 by Harvard University and the City of Boston, in collaboration with the Allston community, to support nonprofit organizations serving Allston-Brighton through neighborhood improvement, cultural enrichment, and educational programming. Since then, the fund has continued to grow as a meaningful way to invest in the community and strengthen local partnerships.

The ceremony brought together community leaders and partners, including Paul Andrew, Vice President for Public Affairs & Communications at Harvard University; Alan Garber, President of Harvard University; Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭; State Representative Kevin G. Honan; and Boston City Councilor Liz Breadon.

We are grateful to Harvard and The Harvard Allston Partnership Fund for their continued support of local organizations doing important work in Allston-Brighton. We look forward to carrying this support forward in our mission to preserve and share our neighborhood’s history.
