HOW TO QUALIFY FOR STATE 2027!

- Teams earn their spot at State by placing 1st or 2nd in an Official Qualifier Tournament or League!
- Qualifier Events are run by independent, community-based youth sports organizations. Register to support a local Qualifier near you!
- State Reps will attend many of our Qualifier Tournaments to award qualifying coaches with a golden ticket invitation to State.

Mark your calendars for the 2027 Michigan Middle School Basketball Championship in Ann Arbor/Brighton/Ypsilanti! We are thrilled to welcome back all our basketball families in March for the 6th Annual Michigan Middle School Basketball Championship! Our annual event has offered teams an exciting season-ending getaway to the Ann Arbor area, focused on family fun!

The State Tournament will again feature great facilities with a 4-game minimum, stop clock quarters, and fresh competition with opponents from every corner of Michigan. Plus, all games will be Live Streamed and available via Replay!

The 2026 State tournament featured teams from throughout Michigan offering fresh competition for all squads. Players hailed from 386 zip codes and 294 different towns across the state.

We can't wait to welcome back more athletes, teams and families to STATE in 2027!
