We took a visit to the in Copley Square to check out the Carnival for Teens in the City! The teen room was full of youth having fun playing games, singing Karaoke and enjoying some food,
Music and fun! My new summer interns had never been to this library and they were so impressed with all it had to offer. They want to go back to see a live show hosted by and to also visit the Norman Leventhal Map Room! We also started some research in preparation for , exploring the history of Brighton! We recently received grant opportunities from and the and we are really looking forward to seeing our visions and projects come to light!

We are so happy to see Veronica B Smith has settled into their new but temporary home on the BrightonOne Campus! We were able to get a tour last week and we cannot wait to visit with the Seniors! Congratulations to Age Strong, Brighton One, Lauren and Jacqui and all who made this possible! We are so proud everyone was able to come together and collaborate to make it a seamless experience for all involved ❤️🙏

We want to thank our neighbors at the Commonwealth Fidelis Community for letting us celebrate their all age graduation BBQ Block Party this weekend! Sindy and her team hosted an amazing event! Thank you to and for providing such fun activities for the kids! Special thanks to Community Officer From D14 Scott Stenstrom and Ro Joseph from BHA for always providing support for the community! Awesome way to kick off summer and we can’t want to be back!

We want to thank everyone who braved the elements and made it to our Annual Meeting held at the Brighton Elks Lodge #2199 last night. It was so great to have so much support from to community and our partner organizations. We are grateful to have so many people who helped make FY26 an amazing year!

Congratulations to J&K Auto for winning Business of the Year! Our volunteers of the year were are very dedicated Community Egg Hunt Committee- Rita Marrochio, also our board VP, Maggie Moynihan, DJ Flaherty, Mara Lopez and Marina Lombardi. Our Neighborhood Hero Award went to Louis Elveus, former own of Sweet & Comfy! And our Community Spirit Award was given to the Kids from the Allston Brighton Youth Coalition!

Special thanks to Mayor's Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, especially our Neighborhood Business Manager Abby Furey for all their support, Boston Main Streets Foundation and Executive Director Eric Esteves for his support and coming to the event! Senator Will Brownsberger, thank you for attending as well!
There are so many of you that came out in support so thank you Friends of McKinney Park, Oak Square YMCA, The Women's Table, Charlesview, Inc., Boston Landing, Boston Medical Center - Brighton, Spark a Life with Art, The Brighton Bazaar, BrightonOne, Allston Civic Assoc, Allston Brighton CDC and Brighton Future Forward, West End House, Commonwealth Fidelis, ABHA and so many others! (Sorry if I missed any one) Special thanks to our small business community, friends and neighbors! A huge thanks to From Scratch-g for the delicious food!

Our work would not be possible without the support and commitment of so many but we want to highlight two in particular who believe in what we do and help make sure we have the resources to fulfill our mission. State Representative Mike Moran and Rep. Kevin G. Honan your trust and belief in our work is instrumental and has helped us make a huge impact in our community and we thank you! To those who supported us over this year in our fundraising efforts and for every grant received we are tremendously thankful in your support and trust!

Again thanks to our Board of Directors, volunteers and friends for making it such a successful year and we are looking forward to FY27!
