Hello Everyone,
just a quick reminder that we have a 4-H meeting tonight at 7:00 so far it is scheduled to be in the Al Lesser building. Tonight we will be available to help with finishing up rockets if you need to and also any other projects or record book help you may need. We have a few demonstrations scheduled for tonight as well. If you have not done a demo or scheduled one let me know when you would like to get yours done. We are already into May fair is just around the corner. We will see you all tonight.

Update for practices tonight:

Archery - Cancelled tonight due to the weather

Air – tonight we will be doing a class in the Good Luck building at the fairgrounds at 6pm. We will be going over fundamentals, safety, range protocols and much more! Please bring your punch card, a notebook for notes and your questions.
22 – tonight we will be doing a hands-on class for .22 – learning and perfecting positions in the Good Luck Building at the fairgrounds. Please bring your firearm (with CBI, but NO AMMO), your punch card and a small mirror (bigger than a compact mirror but not a wall mirror).

Muzzleloading – Tonight we will be cleaning our muzzleloaders at the Fort Lupton Range. Bring your rifles and cleaning supplies along with your punch card.

Arapahoe County 4-H is offering MQA in Bennett! MQA is required for anyone showing cattle, goats, swine, poultry, sheep, or rabbits.

Hello, just a reminder that we are having our 4-H meeting tonight @ 7:00 and this month we are going to be in the extension office. Please park in the back parking lot to come in. The main entrance to the fairgrounds is closed so you will enter at the museum entrance and follow it all the way around the grandstand to come into the parking lot. Sorry for the inconvience, I know it is a long way around to get into the lot. See you all tonight.

Just a reminder that our meeting is tomorrow February 17th and we will be in the Exhibit Hall again. Our meeting starts at 7:00. The kids voted at the last meeting to do the Spread The Love peanut butter and jelly community service. If you would like to participate please bring your donation to the meeting. Our 4‑H members had a blast making custom cutting boards using wood-burning designs — and they even learned a little science along the way! 🧪✨

Using a special homemade torch paste, the kids discovered how heat and chemistry work together to make darker, bolder designs in the wood. It wasn’t just art — it was a hands-on lesson in how materials react when things heat up.

Way to go, kids — and thank you to our leaders for making projects like this possible! 👏

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a meeting on Tuesday night October 21st @ 7:00 p.m. at this time no changes, we will be in the Al Lesser building but I will let you know if that changes. This is a very important meeting as its time to start the new 4-H year and hold our elections. Please plan to be there. We are also having a craft right after the meeting and I need you to let me know if you will be there so we can have enough to go around for everyone. The craft we are doing is a Halloween craft. We will have a choice of the following designs for the craft:
Jack-O-Lantern
Frankenstein
Mummy
Ghost
If you prefer not to do a Halloween craft let me know and we will have something else for you.
I need to know by Sunday night at the latest which one of these you prefer so that we can have them ready.
I hope you can all make it. Lets have a great start this new 4-H year.
