Meet Alphoncine
This young lady grew up in rural Rwanda in abject poverty as her family had been for generations. No one in her village had ever been to school, no one had ever graduated high school.
OBM made the way for her and the other children in her village to start
It was very hard for her at first but she eventually began making progress.

She was the first child from her village to ever go to high school.
We sent her to a boarding school where for the first time in her life she ….
Slept in a real bed, Ate with fork and spoon, Used a flush toilet, Had running water for bathing and Electricity for light at night.
Alphoncine struggled academically but she refused to give up. She eventually graduated and did well enough to be admitted into University where she is studying Electronic Engineering- can you imagine, from illiterate abject poverty all the way to University, that’s transformation !!!!
●We call her our “History Maker”.
First person in her family to ever graduate High School, first person in her entire village to go to University….
