Mariah, all 23 lbs of her, was on death row in a tiny shelter in the south when her shelter director reached out to us to save her.

We took her and a dozen others and they now live.

Mariah went to foster at Wags Doggie Daycamp in Danbury CT and we are so grateful that they are Rescue friendly and Philanthropic. Thank you Kathleen, Amy and their team.

One of their long time employees fell in love with Mariah and Adopted her!!!

Mariah Adopted!!! Thank you to our Village of Doers, Helpers, Caring and loving Supporters. We could not do this without you.

Congratulations to Mariah’s new family. I couldn’t be happier for her.

Henry is a hound mix, 3 yrs about 65lbs found as a stray. Henry loves other dogs and he starts off shy with people and warms up. He’s house and crate trained.

SENIOR ALERT Lola is a tiny mild-mannered 6.5 lb. sweetie pie who doesn’t ask for a lot. Mostly she needs a person and a warm lap to call her own. While she’s no spring chicken (at least 10), she is youthful at heart - perky, attentive and still a lover of brisk walks. No toys needed as she prefers to be entertained by her person or to simply hang out nearby. She’ll let you carry her around and keep your lap warm if you work at home.

She is used to being doted on and unexpectedly lost the only home she’d ever known. She loves people, does ok with calm cats in her foster home but doesn’t care for big noisy dogs. She would thrive in a quiet home where all the attention can be hers. She’s good with kids as well.

Jinx is easygoing. As a 10 year old gentleman, he doesn’t ask for much.
His days are simple. If you’d like to give Jinx this & more and you do not have resident cats, Jinx is your guy ❤️

He is 10 years old, 70 pounds, one blue and one amber eye and he is deaf. Don’t let that put you off. He is no different than any hearing dog.🥰

Brandy is settling into her new foster home, long walks in town and meeting new people and dogs along the way. She’s living with a cat politely asking if they could be friends. She is also living with a very small dog nicely.

Brandy is house, crate and leash trained. Unfortunately her owner did not keep up with her vetting so we will get her up to date. She is dog and people friendly. She is a German Shepherd mix that’s 11 months and about 55lbs

Violet is losing her foster to Adopt home thru no fault of her own. The 3 cats in her home have all voted NO to adopting her. Violet loves them but the love has not been returned.

Everyone said no to me. I was just a puppy. I was found scavenging the woods of upstate ny with my brothers Diesel and Buddy. Animal control took me in and when they began to run out of space they called shelters and rescues, all of them said NO!

We took a chance on these 3. Buddy was Adopted, Diesel recently left for a foster to adopt home and we are now able to get Stormie out of the boarding kennel and into a home.

Stormie is delicious!
