Member Spotlight: Heather Fogg | Fundamental Foot Care

This week, we’re highlighting Heather Fogg of Fundamental Foot Care!

Heather and her team of registered nurses specialize in medically based routine foot care, helping clients maintain their comfort, mobility, independence, and dignity. While they serve clients of all ages, much of their work focuses on older adults and those living with chronic conditions who may need additional support caring for their feet.

From thorough nursing assessments and routine toenail care to addressing thickened callouses, corns, and many ingrowing toenails, their work is about much more than comfortable feet. Proper foot care can help reduce the risk of infection, falls, mobility issues, and other preventable complications.

Heather and her team believe no one should have to simply live with foot pain or discomfort—and they bring compassion to every visit, from head to toes!

There’s networking… and then there’s finding your people.

Tuesday Forum is a group of women who cheer for each other, celebrate each other’s wins, show up when life gets hard, make each other laugh, and genuinely care about what’s happening in one another’s lives.

Yes, business connections happen here. Referrals happen here. Opportunities happen here. But so do friendships, support systems, and the feeling that you have a whole room full of women in your corner.

Come for the connections. Stay because somehow, these women become family.

Meet the Speaker!

This week, we’re excited to welcome a member of The Animal Orphanage team, serving as their Public Relations Specialist and Fundraising Coordinator!

Her work centers around community outreach, fundraising, event planning, marketing, and—most importantly—sharing the stories of the animals who need our community’s support. She has also served as the shelter’s Dog’s Day Out Coordinator and works closely with volunteers, local businesses, and community partners to create more opportunities to help animals in need.

Her presentation, “Beyond Adoption: Making a Difference for Local Shelter Animals,” will take us behind the scenes at The Animal Orphanage and introduce us to the many ways we can make an impact beyond bringing home a new furry family member.

From volunteering and fostering to Dog’s Day Out, fundraising, sharing resources, or even putting your professional skills and connections to work, there are so many ways to support local shelter animals.

We can’t wait to learn more about the incredible work happening right here in our community!

We’re excited to introduce Amber Baird, Founder of Be Change Nutrition & Wellness!

Amber believes that health is personal—and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition, wellness, or creating lasting lifestyle change.

Combining evidence-based nutrition science with compassionate, whole-person care, Amber helps people navigate health challenges with more confidence and clarity. Her approach is shaped by advanced nutrition education and clinical training, as well as her own experience navigating serious health challenges firsthand.

Whether someone is facing a new diagnosis, struggling with burnout, or simply wants to feel better in their body, Amber’s work is rooted in empathy, practicality, and making sure people feel supported and empowered along the way.

We’re looking forward to having Amber share her knowledge, experience, and perspective with us!

📍 Tomorrow - Tuesday, September 8: We will return to Seasons Restaurant in Bangor for our regular weekly meetings going forward.

Our schedule at Season’s will be:
• 11:30 a.m. – Doors open for Tuesday Forum; arrive, order lunch, and network
• 12:00–1:00 p.m. – Regular Tuesday Forum meeting

Please note that 11:30 a.m. is our new earliest arrival time at Seasons (rather than 11:00 a.m. as in the past).

We look forward to seeing everyone at Seasons tomorrow and hearing a presentation from a long-time member - Edee Howland with Juice Plus !!

A quick reminder about our upcoming meeting locations:
📍 Tuesday, September 1: We will meet at Kosta’s Restaurant in Brewer for our final summer meeting there.
📍 Beginning Tuesday, September 8: We will return to Season’s Restaurant in Bangor for our regular weekly meetings going forward.

One important change for our meetings at Season’s: although the restaurant does not officially open on Tuesdays until noon, they will open the doors especially for Tuesday Forum beginning at 11:30 a.m.

That means our schedule at Season’s will be:
• 11:30 a.m. – Doors open for Tuesday Forum; arrive, order lunch, and network
• 12:00–1:00 p.m. – Regular Tuesday Forum meeting

Please note that 11:30 a.m. is our new earliest arrival time at Season’s (rather than 11:00 a.m. as in the past).
