What do insurance, Alaskan Malamutes, grandchildren, and a game of Jeopardy have in common?

This week's Tuesday Forum speaker, Jenny Schendler of Comparion Insurance Agency, brought them all together for an informative and entertaining presentation that kept our members engaged from start to finish.

With 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jenny shared practical insights on auto, home, life, and liability insurance, helping attendees better understand the coverage that protects their families, homes, assets, and future. Through a fun Jeopardy-style game and real-world examples, she broke down complex insurance concepts into information everyone could understand and apply.

This Pride Month, Tuesday Forum celebrates the strength that comes from building a community where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected.

Our organization is made stronger by the diverse experiences, perspectives, and voices of the women who gather around our tables each week. We believe meaningful connections happen when people feel safe to be themselves, share their stories, and support one another's growth.

As we celebrate Pride Month, we're reminded that community is at its best when everyone has a seat at the table.

🌟 Meet the Speaker: Jenny Schnedler 🌟

With 28 years of experience serving the Bangor area, Jenny has built a career helping individuals and families protect what matters most. As an Executive Sales Agent with Comparion Insurance Agency, she brings a wealth of knowledge in personal insurance, life planning, and risk management. Her professional designations—API, LUTCF, and AINS—reflect her commitment to expertise and ongoing education in the insurance industry.

Jenny lives in Hampden with her husband of 31 years, Todd, and their four dogs. She is a proud mother and grandmother of three and enjoys spending time at her off-grid camp exploring Maine's trails by ATV and snowmobile.

During her presentation, Jenny will share her personal and professional journey, offering insight into her career, the lessons she's learned along the way, and the experiences that have shaped her success.

A quick note to help clear up a little confusion we recently became aware of.

Since 1980, Tuesday Forum has proudly served as a nonprofit women's networking and professional development organization in the Bangor area. Over the years, we've built a supportive community of women who come together to learn, connect, and grow both personally and professionally.

Recently, a member came across an event online using the name "Tuesday Forum" and assumed it was connected to our organization. While there is another program that occasionally meets at the Old Town Public Library and also uses the name Tuesday Forum, it is not affiliated with our organization.

We simply wanted to clarify that our upcoming June 16 program will be held at Kosta's and will feature one of our outstanding members, Jenny Schnedler of Comparion Insurance. Jenny always brings valuable insight and practical information, and we're looking forward to another informative presentation on all things insurance.

Thank you to the member who brought this to our attention, and thank you to everyone who continues to support Tuesday Forum. We are proud of our history, our mission, and the incredible community we've built together over the past 46 years.

We look forward to seeing you on June 16!

We’re excited to announce that Amy Whitmore was the winner of our Brewer Riverwalk prize drawing and has received a gift card to Kosta’s Restaurant!

Amy is the owner of Amy Whitmore Massage & Yoga, where she helps clients improve their well-being through massage therapy and yoga. We're always thrilled to connect with local professionals who are making a positive impact in our community.
