Best Buddies sponsored a Hydration Station for our last Friendship Friday, last student day, and field day!

It was a big hit! We served about 400 drinks!

Thanks to the TAP staff for all of their help and to JessiJessica Fraserchelle Macdonald and Mary Mary Saundersthe inspiration!

As a fundraiser for Brewer Best Buddies we have started making and selling shirts!

We can now make and sell all of our chapter Best Buddies shirts!

We also recently volunteered for the job of making shirts for our rising Seniors!

It's tradition for BHS Juniors to wear class shirts on the day after the current seniors graduate!

We made and sold over 80 shirts this year (with assistance and supervision from the Transitional Advantage Program (TAP) staff)!

This was a super easy and fun fundraiser that will help fund our chapter while fulfilling a need in our school!

It also teaches our students a great skill that they can use later in life (if they choose too)!

And the great thing about it is that if you didn't order a shirt (or someone moves in next year) we can make one pretty quickly in house!

Our 2nd annual Unified Bocce event!

Thanks to Brewer Witches Athletics for organizing and sponsoring this event and to Belfast High School and Maine Central Institute for participating again this year!

This is a Best Buddies favorite every year!

We had so much fun at our Unified Bocce game yesterday evening with Belfast and MCI!

Savannah was interviewed for the first time (with her buddy McKenna and friends Alexis and Maddy). She was super nervous, but did a great job!

The bonds these students share and life lessons they are learning because of Best Buddies is amazing!

Ready for some Bocce?

BREWER IS!

Maine’s only MUTLI-MULTI-MULTI-MULTI-MULTI PURPOSE facility, Heddericg Field will host two intermediate size baseball games along with Unified Bocce on Wednesday; all at the same time!

MCI & Belfast join Brewer Best Buddies for bocce at 6:00 while BCS will play Nokomis and Cohen will play Doughty in the battle for Bangor in “B” team baseball.

Thursday we had our last after school Best Buddies Meeting of the year 😢

A make your own Ice Cream Sunday Party!

Earlier this spring, our chapter earned a popsicle party for having 30+ members signed up for the Bangor Best Buddies Friendship Walk - So, of course we added our own flare and upgraded to ice cream sundaes!

We'd like to thank Best Buddies Maine for helping us fund our "popsicle party"

Even though this was our last after school meeting, we still have 2 events to go before the school year wraps up!

Join is for Best Buddies Unified Bocce on Wednesday, June 3rd from 6 - 7:15ish on the turf as we take on Unified Bocce Teams from MCI and Belfast! Shout out to David Utterback and Brewer Witches Athletics for organizing this event and helping Best Buddies and Unified Sports grow in our region.

Finally, our last Best Buddies Friendship Friday will be held on Friday, June 12th. You can find us somewhere on campus providing a free school-wide hydration station for our students and staff to celebrate the last day of school!

The weather is looking perfect for our fundraiser at Mason's Brewing Co tomorrow (Monday) evening.

It's really simple dine at Mason's tomorrow between 5pm and 9pm and they will donate a portion of their sales to Brewer Best Buddies
