Are you passionate about supporting older adults in Maine? We are looking for a dedicated leader from Hancock County to join our volunteer Board of Directors! 🤝✨
This is a volunteer position where you can truly make an impact. We would absolutely love to welcome someone who has lived experience, whether you are an older adult yourself or have experience caregiving for a loved one. Your voice matters! 💙
🔍 Who We Are Looking For:
📍 Must live in Hancock County
💡 Experience in one or more of these areas:
Tech & Digital Strategy (IT, cybersecurity, data privacy) 💻
Government Relations (Public policy, advocacy) 🏛️
Advanced Finance (Auditing, risk management) 📊

Caring for a loved one can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. 💙

Join Eastern Area Agency on Aging for Caregiver 101, a monthly opportunity to learn about the resources, programs, and support available to family caregivers in our community.

📍 Durgin Center, 274 State Street, Brewer
🕔 Second Tuesday of every month, 5 to 6 p.m.

During this free session, our Care Coordination Specialist will walk through programs and services including:
• Support Groups
• Assistive Devices
• Trainings
• Respite Resources

There will also be time to ask questions and connect with others who understand the caregiving journey. This program is open to all caregivers, regardless of your loved one’s diagnosis.

What an incredible day at the 2026 Healthy Aging Expo! 💙
