Reach out here or at our website, and help us make TC Hunger Free.

Our mission is to strengthen the existing food distribution network, engage additional resources to combat hunger and increase access to healthier food options in Transylvania County. TC Hunger Coalition is a group of citizens of Transylvania County who are concerned with this high level of food insecurity, homelessness, and diet related disease in our County. We are currently focused on improving communication between food shelters and their ability to receive and distribute food to those in need.

Help Us Bring Fresh Food Further!

Every week, we pick up fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and other perishable foods from our retail partners. Our challenge is keeping that food cold and safe while we get it to the neighbors who need it most.

That's why we're raising funds for a refrigerated Sprinter van. With it, we can:

🍎 Rescue and deliver more fresh, healthy food
❄️ Keep perishables at a safe temperature from pickup to plate
🏡 Reach families, seniors, and individuals all across Transylvania County
📍 Get food to mobile distributions, partner sites, and hard-to-reach areas

Here's the exciting part: an anonymous donor has offered to match every gift, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000, through December 31! Give $25 and it becomes $50. Give $100 and it becomes $200.

Every gift counts, and every gift is doubled. Will you help us put more fresh, healthy food on our neighbors' tables?

Please share this post with friends and neighbors who care about a hunger-free Transylvania County.
