This is what it looks like to .

In Transylvania County, 917 children receive a free book every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Behind every book is a community of people who believe in the power of giving—our donors, volunteers, local partners and supporters who help make this program possible. This September 25, Give Like Dolly Day, you can help us reach even more children and families in Transylvania County. Every gift helps us continue building a community where children can grow up surrounded by the joy of books and reading.

Recovery funds have helped local child care programs and families to address storm-related damage through necessary home, facility, and playground repairs.

A Transylvania County mother shared with us her story after receiving assistance with home repairs. ➡️

How can elected officials support NC’s workforce and their children? By ensuring they have access to affordable child care that fits with their work schedule! ⏰✔️

Parents in rural child care deserts and parents who work outside of typical business hours rely on FFN caregivers to take care of their children so that they can go to work every day. Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care is a legitimate and sustainable child care model!
