Last day of homework for this school year
First of all, I want to thank all of our tutors. I am truly so thankful for everything you have done for El Centro, for the Hispanic community, and especially for our students. Your time, patience, kindness, and dedication have made a huge difference in these kids’ lives. Many of our students look forward to seeing you every week, and the support you give them goes far beyond homework. You help them feel seen, supported, and encouraged to believe in themselves.
This year brought many changes, and I really appreciate all of you for being willing to adapt and continue showing up for our students. Your flexibility and commitment meant so much to us. I truly hope you continue volunteering with El Centro in the future, but if life takes you in another direction, please know that you will always be part of our El Centro family, and we hope you come back and visit us anytime.
I also want to thank all of the parents for trusting us with your children after school and for allowing them to be part of Homework Club. It means a lot to us that you believe in our programs and support what we do. We hope to continue serving your children and supporting them as they grow.
And for any students who are graduating from elementary school, we would absolutely love to have you join our Homework Club and Bilingual Club next year. We want to continue helping you succeed and stay connected with our community.
Lastly, I want to thank our staff. None of this would have been possible without your hard work, teamwork, and dedication throughout the school year. Thank you for always being there for our students, families, tutors, and for each other. Because of all of you, this Homework Club year was a success.
Thank you again to everyone for being part of this journey. We are so proud of our students and so grateful for this amazing community.
