Selected from more than 61,000 applicants nationwide, Keirra is among a small group of student leaders chosen for this honor. She is also the first Brevard High School student to ever receive this distinction!

We are beyond proud of all she has accomplished at the Club, in the classroom, and throughout our community.

Today, Group 3 put the summer heat to the test to see if it was hot enough to make s’mores! 🍫🔥 This tasty experiment combined curiosity, creativity, and a little bit of science, making for a sweet way to learn.😎

Did you know? During the pandemic and in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the staff of The Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Transylvania County volunteered in Sharing House’s Neighbors Market, generously lending their time, energy, and support for under-resourced neighbors.

Fun fact: Shelly Webb, Executive Director of Sharing House, serves on the Board of Trustees for The Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Transylvania County.

This meaningful partnership expands our collective impact for Transylvania County families. Thank you for all you do!

💫Our Annual Youth of the Year Banquet💫

Club members, staff, family and friends gathered at our Teen Center Wednesday evening to celebrate our members and recognize their hard work, growth, leadership, and accomplishments throughout the year.

Members, families, staff, and supporters gathered for dinner and awards as we honored members who have stood out in different areas of Club life. It was an evening filled with celebration, encouragement, and pride for our members and their families!💙
