Every dollar helps. Every share really does matter. Every adoption puts another dog in need, in the safety of our group.

Thank you!

Success story that we were excited to be a part of!!! You guys probably remember Molly, she wasn’t adopted too long ago. Just long enough, for us to see that she is thriving. ❤️

Molly is living the best life with her new family. She has a feline companion, and enjoys her walks!

We’re so happy for Molly and her family!!

WE NEED ADOPTION COUNSELORS!!! 📢📢📢🙏🏻 I'm not going to lie: we are drowning and we desperately need help in order to keep us afloat. Most people don't realize that the bulk of the work to run a rescue is administrative. Believe me, we wish we could just snuggle with pups all day, but that's not what saves lives. We DESPERATELY need help posting bios for dogs, getting them uploaded in our database, interviewing and screening potential adopters, and interfacing with fosters to get good photos, updated vaccine records, etc. This work may not sound fun, but it is VERY rewarding because you get to oversee the process from beginning to end - taking a dog from what is usually a crappy situation and then being in charge of placing them in a wonderful home. And we are a small, fun team who support each other. Don't worry, we will train you and the work can be done from anywhere. If you have any interest, please fill out our volunteer form at https://new.shelterluv.com/form/volunteer/HHRC/104061-volunteer - Thank you!!!
