“ He was the cleanest he had been, you know, when he was with me,” a true statement from May Pang, John Lennon’s girlfriend during “The Lost Weekend,” a match orchestrated by Lennon’s own wife, Yoko Ono. Although May and John as a couple lasted about 18 months, their loving relationship lasted 'til Lennon’s death in 1980. NEW FUND‼️

Richie Cip, born Richard Cipriano, helped shape the sound of New York Hardcore as the bassist for Sick of It All during the band’s formative years. From the early demo and Revelation Records 7-inch to ‘Blood, Sweat and No Tears,’ his playing is part of the music that introduced countless people to the scene. Richie went on to play in Reach, which signed to Atlantic Records, and continues to make music as the guitarist for New York Hardcore band War Orphan.

Unfortunately, Richie was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and needs our help.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund has created a Fund to raise money for his treatments and vital living expenses. There is also a fundraising T-shirt available through Revelation Records. The community he helped build has a chance to stand with him.

We're so grateful to have, once again, been the benefitting charity for The Magic Flute 6th Annual Restring-a-Thon! The event was a success, with their technicians doing 70 restrings for electric and acoustic guitars and ukuleles!

In addition to string donations, D'Addario also donated a prize package for an on-site raffle that helped raise several hundred dollars. Huge thanks to D'Addario for their contributions!

Thanks to the incredible support of the community, $2,061 was raised for Sweet Relief Musicians Fund ❤️
