Hello all of you that still follow this page. We have a new Maxkalaniat page as well as an Instagram page. We will begin using them more to communicate all of our activities.
Speaking of activities, the chapter banquet is November 18, 2021 at 6:30 pm. At the Brea Scouthouse (401 S Brea Blvd Brea Ca 92821). It will be taco man and cost $10 per person. Bring your family.

Hello all and thank you for your patience. As you know, Modoc Chapter merged with Crow Chapter and formed a new chapter named Maxkalaniat in January 2021.
We meet the 4th Thursday of the month at the Brea Scouthouse.
You can follow us on Instagram under Maxkalaniat Chapter.

Sorry for the late post. Last weekend was Wiatava Lodge #13 annual Pow Wow. It was Modoc Chapters last one as we will he merging next year. Modoc took 1st Place in Pre-Ordeal Ceremony, 1st Place in Ordeal Ceremony, Michelle Qualls took 1st Place in Traditional Sand Painting, 2nd Place overall in Unit Elections, 2nd Place overall in Spirit, and 3rd Place overall in Indian Affairs.
Congratulations to our newest Vigil Honor Members Jack Hung, Ming Wei Hung, Mr. Steve Kernes, and Mrs. Brenda Patino. (See pic below for their Vigil names and translations)

It is my honor and privilege to be the Chapter Adviser to such a great group of Scouts and Scouters.
